Good Morning, Lodge!

Mr. wore Black is back from Minnesota and the one thing I requested he left it at his parent's house. I wanted my Nordeast. :mad: Now I have to wait until October, if they don't drink it all, or when my parents drive through the area sometime this summer they can pick it up for me.

I can just see it now...all you USCHO *kers saying "I know that guy!" when they feature me overflying an airport because I was posting.

Mornin' Loj. My car is AWOL for another week, costing me >$2K in repairs, and that's just the labor! Thankfully(?) the manufacturer is willing to cover the parts (>$2K as well). 23 hours to complete the job. With the holiday, they won't even begin until Tuesday. Unhappy does not even begin to describe my mood. :mad:

So, let's recap Twitch's week.

Detroit Lions president Tom Lewand busted for DUI.

Grandmother robbed in her own home in broad daylight by two teenage girls.

They're still picking pieces of Joel Zumaya's elbow out of the infield in Minneapolis.

Some kid on a bike darts out in front of my mom and gets creamed.

My high school made national news after one of the teachers went Mary Kay Letourneau.

I'm going to Juneau for the extended weekend to visit a friend. She just happens to be female. She went to NMU and has a Masters from Sue, but I won't hold that against her :D

Expect SENANICANS if I get to a computer.

And I figured it can't hurt to keep bombarding the system with reports. If nothing else, it's paying the annoyance forward.

Reports of me getting senile are premature. :D

Yesterday, when I got home, I found voicemail from the dentist who put in the implant in my jaw a while back reminding me of an appointment at 9:30 this morning at their Tyson's Corner office (out in the sticks). I didn't have such an appointment on my computer and I didn't remember it. I thought that that work was finsihed.

I called back but no one answered, so I left a voice mail. After they didn't return it in an hour, I called their Alexandria office and rescheduled the appointment for three weeks from now.

I just now decided to call the Tysons Corner office again to apologize. They told me that it was their mistake -- It was another Baer who had the appointment today (and who wasn't too happy that I canceled their appointment. :D )

I did also cancel the appointment for three weeks from now, so they won't call me again.

It's a good thing that I didn't just show up there today. I would have been ****ed to go there for nothing.

Hello, Lodgers. Checking in from work. Been a busy day so far. Donated blood this morning, talked to my mom (smoothed some stuff over after our fight yesterday, which was partially (and maybe more than partially) my fault), started working on memorizing the layers of the skin and the bones of the skeleton, and am now at work. :) Looking forward to a nice long weekend with not too much in the way of plans other than a gathering on Sunday - thinking about making lemon poundcakes, homemade whipped cream, and getting some strawberries and blueberries and making a trifle.

No, we want him gone so that the rest of his bull* does not permeate the NMU threads during the season.

He's asking to be banned. Give him his wish.
