Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #111: Filling in for the night shift

Okay, weird dream time again:

Last night, right before I woke up, I had one where diva, Flashy and I were in my office. Diva had moved a desk and was going to paint a wall, and Flashy was at my desk lighting files on fire with a Zippo. I went over to him and smacked him in the back of the head, and he responded by setting another set of papers on fire.

I know about that...I, in a past life, may have been part of that scene and indulged in illicit behaviors never to be spoken of again. But the difference was, it wasn't the night before a big game (or 48 hours before). I don't care if they party until the cows come home, but the product on the ice better be pretty darned good for it to be acceptable.
The night before, I can understand, but two nights before a game shouldn't matter as much as some over there are making it sound. That said, it's been mentioned that Parker has a rule about only drinking on Saturdays, making what they did violating team rules. That's what I'd more more mad about if I was a BU fan. Whether or not Jack made the right decision, I won't say, since I obviously haven't been following it before today.

Welcome to the club, BU - Sincerely, North Dakota :)

You got us mixed up. He'd be the one playing with paint, and I'd be the one setting stuff on fire.
On a related note, have you ever seen flames come out of a hair dryer? Because I just did.

No, you were *****ing about how the wall looked after you moved the desk. The other one was just matter-of-factly setting things ablaze.

Evening, Lodge. Everything's ready for the Fifth-Third tomorrow; nothing left to do now but get up, get to GR, and run like the wind tomorrow morning.

And 'ewe, about your rep: ask away. :)

unfortunately, both our parents would shoot us if we did that or the Vegas thing...still, tempting...

Tell them that if they want a big wedding, they can plan a big wedding. :p

Though, then, it'd be done their way, and that would probably be disastrous. :o

Yeah, I totally get that. When it was all said and done, the wedding Robbie and I had was totally worth all the headaches of the planning phase.

I need to stop going out to watch games. Went to a sports bar with Jenna and gang to watch the Bruins. The Celtics and Red Sox games were also on tvs there. I said early on I felt all three teams were going to lose. *sigh* Monday night I'm watching the game from my couch.

It was gorgeous. :) Despite the nerve-wracking feelings! (who meets their boyfriend's entire family at his sister's wedding on their ... 5th? date?!)
