Howdy Kids
Another day, another Bruins loss.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #111: Filling in for the night shift

Good morning, Lodge. I get to go back to work today, even though it's awfully nice outside...

Oh Em Gee. I'm back in *king Denver for the weekend. :D :D :D :D :D

Time to ride my bike, go to our sushi place, visit some friends, read my mail, go to my gym, drink Starbucks, bet on the Preakness, do some laundry, and just enjoy being far away from St. Louis. :D :D :D

(none of that is in order, per se)

Good morning.
After what seemed like months of clouds & rain it's nice to finally see the strange yellow orb in the sky.

Of course the meeting was canceled.
Fishing opener means it's time to break out the tubes/skis/wakeboards and pull the kids around the lake - driving fishing people nuts is fun. :)

Jerk.

We have a massive problem with that on our lake back home. The lake we use for our annual fishing tournament (yes, my family has an annual bass fishing tournament the weekend of bass opener) is a pretty good sized lake. However, I swear those nouveau-riche Detroit 'burb transplants seek out our boats and insist on freaking buzzing us all morning. And there's nothing we can do about it, because they've bought out the lake association.
I get that we have to share the lake, but come on! If we're out there first on one end, keep your skiing antics on the other end. It's a 3 mile lake for chrissakes.

'Morning, Lodge! Checking in from Houghton. Just had leftover Ambo tostada pizza for breakfast. :) Now, can someone tell me where I can get a cup of coffee in this town?

See, it's easy to drive them nuts. :D ;)
We don't buzz anyone on purpose (original post was hyperbole) but will ski/tube where it's calm and preferably near our cabin so if people happen to be fishing in the area well.....it's a big lake. Speaking of jerks I get sick of the jack-bag Al Linder wannabes bouncing their lures off our boats & dock when they cast. What's worse is when these jerkoffs are casting within a few feet of where my kids (when they were younger) or young nieces/nephews are playing.

Hey jerkface, shouldn't you be out in the lake annoying the peaceful fisherpeople with your high powered, environment destroying ski boat? :p

I wish. :( I want to get my kayak out soon.
The lad is going to the Visitation prom (with an Edina girl - he's aiming high :) ) later today so I guess we have to go take pictures and stuff.

Water temps around here, high 40s or so, like to see those kids out tubing in that:D
