Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

Hm, perhaps I'll have to look for one.

Not right now though - went to the local Mexican place tonight, and had a couple excellent beef chimichangas. Fried tortillas, delicious braised beef, all smothered in cheese with Spanish rice on the side.

And a margarita! half the size of my head. :D

The one I know of is just off of 42nd/494 in Plymouth, in the strip mall by LeeAnn Chin's/the old Golf Galaxy/old TGIF's.

Another place around is Zantigo. I've been there a couple times, the burritos are ok, not as good as chipotle or the loco, but they're still good. The best part about the place is they have Tigo fries! Which are the exact same thing as potato oles, but they make me think of tigos. :D

There's a place in Plymouth by the movie theater on General Mills Blvd (I think that's the road) that is decent, too. Messy, but real ingredients, sorta fast food. Mom-n-Pop shop, IIRC.

The place I went tonight is in Lexington, on Lake Drive - part of a chain, but all the rest of them are in western South Carolina of all places. It's a sit-down place with speedy service for a sit-down, but I think you can order ahead to go too. Great food, and good lunch specials.

I went to a Chinese buffet tonight that's off Highway 7 and 169 by that Super Target. I think it's called "Grand City Buffet."

Good morning, Lodge. Power went out for about 20 minutes last night; made it easier to fall asleep.

I also realized last night that I'm going nowhere and I need to go back to school...

Morning, *ers. I wish I could sleep in sometimes.

Oh well. Gives me some time to work on the topic du jour.

No barking from the dog, no smog... and mama cooked a breakfast with no hog!
