Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

Just caught this one on the D-1 board. This one, unlike many at this time of the year, is WELL worth the read, whether or not you were involved with the information detailed in the post.

It was indeed a pleasure to read Bob McKenzie's posts the last four years here on USCHO. I have respected his opinions ever since his editorship of THN years ago.

I was flabbergasted four years ago, not knowing that he was Mike's father, when he emailed his analyses of some RPI recruits that he saw playing in Ontario. IIRC, he was spot on as it turned out.

While I am not cft, I do believe you were aiming that question at me. :)
Best option with Cyberia is just to stop in and ask. Other than that, though, there's also the Java Shop which is on Pearl Street. :)
Fill out your sub paperwork for the CCISD yet?

Oops.
And not yet. Plans just got a little hazy for the next few months, though...

I'm pretty sure any of the Liberal Arts majors would work.

You sure you want to tap from that selection pool? I'm pretty sure Big Bon's in Gwinn has you beat.

And I'm not providing a link to them. Google it yourself. :p

Isn't Big Bons in Harvey? :p

It's technically in McFarland...

Hey, where's Uncle Ray? Can I get a large size Margarita! from the lodge bar? Just heard that it's official that the two best juniors for NMU are turning pro.

Goddammit. :(

Wine was just added to the shopping list for tonight, and the poster is coming off my wall. (Yes, I had a Mark Olver poster on my wall--don't judge me.) Frick. Frickfrickfrick.

I won't judge you OlverismyHero2. ;)

Eh, be proud. He's going to Lake Erie for a bit. There's a reason even the team won't admit it's from Cleveland. :D It's a shame he has to be part of the Divealanche though.

And I was hoping for Gussy to go to a good team. Maybe Kaunisto will go to a team I actually care about.

I enjoy seeing the alums when they play for/against the Chicago Wolves. And if they're wearing opponents colors, they love seeing the Green And Gold in the crowd and having someone recognize them. Dusty and Waugh on Manitoba were ecstatic to see some familiar faces, they "don't even get recognized that well at home."

Just remember, they'll always be a Wildcat. :D

Seagram's 7 was just added to my shopping list. :( They'll always be Wildcats to me, and here's hoping I get to see them when they play in Grand Rapids.

Afternoon, Lodge. Between my mom never fully recovering from her accident last year and my dad's diabetes, I might as well become a nurse or a home health aide. *sigh*

At least a friend is paying for me to see Hot Tub Time Machine tonight, so I can get out of the house.

While I'm happy to hear this as a Tech fan ;), I'm disappointed you won't get to see them play their senior years. Both were excellent players who made their teammates better whenever they were on the ice.

If they embarrass themselves at an AHL game I'm at, I'll just gently remind them that they "Shoulda stayed a Wildcat!" :D

Apartment is flooded again. I'm too numb to even be upset. :( I had semi-prepared (gotten some stuff off the floor), but not everything. Luckily, computer was totally unplugged. :(

That sucks! Is this just due to the weather or is there something the Landlord could to to keep the apt from flooding?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

Actually, I'm not surprised. Fogs and Cole are good friends. Ron's a riot to listen to. Some of his stories are unbelievable.
Yeah, I believe it. think I now have a standing offer to come over some time, spend some time within the inner circle. ;)
I'd rather just be a bouncer.
A sweet thing like you?? Unless the plan is to just kick em in the junk and have them fall into a wheelbarrow, you're not throwing drunks out. :p

Maybe you should just start workin on another Ark.

I just read that the boston folk have seen 13+ inches of rain this month. We're not too far behind at 11+ in the NYC area. Ridiculous month, hopefully there isn't any flooding that affects you guys seriously, stay high and dry.

The amount of Rain you've had down there is unreal. We've had it here this time but missed it a few weeks ago. Hope the landlord makes it right with you, that doesn't do you much good at the moment though. Supposed to be 70s and 80s on Saturday which is a nice thought:)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

Going to get to bed early tonight. I have to be in Green Bay tomorrow morning, which means I have to leave MSP even earlier in the morning. I might even be up Ralph-early!
Unfortunately, we're also driving back to MSP tomorrow late afternoon. I'm in for a long day.
