Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

What major does "pole dancer" fit under? Actually a better idea would be able to find a way to capture all of the ones that are too stupid for school and drop out...

Job Requirements:
0 - 2 years college experience
No degree, high school diploma/GED is acceptable, but not required
Little to no self esteem

I'm pretty sure any of the Liberal Arts majors would work.

You sure you want to tap from that selection pool? I'm pretty sure Big Bon's in Gwinn has you beat.

And I'm not providing a link to them. Google it yourself. :p

Isn't Big Bons in Harvey? :p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

I got a gray chicklet from Hokydad...did you know he has Extra?

It's currently not raining, and the river is still below the top banking out back. 'Ewe and tcbg were here in August, so this will make sense to them, but those steps out back - water's about half way up. Should be interesting to see if we still get satellite service when the dish is underwater. :D We're due for more heavy downpours today and an astronomical high tide tonight, so that should be fun. After that, the weather looks good so I guess the basement stays dry for another year.

I have limited restaurant experience from high school - among our famous guests was one Ray Bourque. Unfortunately my present condition prevents me from working at the planned restaurant, but if you need a Norm Peterson or Cliff Clavin type character, I'm available. :p

Liberal Arts, should've been able to guess that.

So you're suggesting we go more for girls that need some money because they're trying to work their way through med school?

There is no way in hell I'm googling a website for a Fooper strip club at work. :p

I figured it out yesterday, after I gave him a neg rep for being an idiot.

Nursing and Education majors... and what are Northern's two strongest programs? :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

Fine, fine, I'll be a freakin' dishwasher. But can I at least kick out the cute boys who are under 21 who try to get in??

sure. Are you up for kicking in some investment money into this bar? Since some of us are actually serious about opening up a property?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

Thanks legal! I'll definitely let you know when/if I ever get the balls to transfer. The fact that there's club level hockey activity makes me feel a little more excited about it. :p
Your welcome. And as far as transferring... do it!! Seriously, the move is a little scary at first (I moved down here alone as well) but it's easier to do while you're young and in school.

So ctf will be the dishwasher? :p ;)

"mommy, why did you name me Ralph?"
"well, you see, there was this guy I met on the internet, he's really good with numbers and spreadsheets, everyone else on the internet thought I should name you after him, so I did"

:D
LOL...

Also, under optional requirements, note that priority will be given to those women who are furthest from their hometowns. ;)

Morning, Lodge. I have to finish a rebuttal to a presentation today... woo. :(

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

ctf, since you want to go into Motorsports management, do you have any suggestions for my bf who needs to find sponsorship money so he can race this season?

Stupid dirty playing d-bag beat him by forcing contact last year so he was unable to win professional (paid for) ride in the Playboy MX-5 series this year.

This.

Moved to Boston at 17 and didn't know anyone when I started at BU (and ask anyone who went there - 33,000 people makes it very easy to be lonely when you don't know anyone). But once you're doing something you like or are interested in, you meet people with similar interests and make friends. Plus, truly being on your own (without parental crutch remotely nearby) makes you learn the sink or swim parts of growing up pretty quickly (cooking, cleaning, laundry, bedtimes, drinking, etc). It's a fun experience, plus in a new place there are always new and exciting things to explore (restaurants, activities - hiking, climbing, etc). Good luck, ctf.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

LOL... yes, I'm pregnant. :)
Yeah!!!

No, we think we want to know now. It helps to halve all the naming arguments before we get to the hospital. :p
Guy Lafleaur....think about it.

I agree about the moving. Do it!!! If you dont like that part of the country you can always move back right? And it is much easier to do before you have a family. It is the kind of thing that will get you our of your comfort zone, and opportunity to grown, and explore a new part of the country.

What I would suggjest is make sure you have some money saved up for the move. That is proably the worst part, the cost of moving and then setting up a new place to live, with just the basics like food. I found that by saving up money before I moved, made it alot less stressful because I had the money in hand, and I wasnt as worried when my first paycheck was coming in.
