Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

Morning!

It's already 50 outside and on it's way to 70. :)
Rumors are that tomorrow will top 75.

The downside is that there is rain in the forecast for the weekend. Booooo!

Oh and POTY should do brackets one year just for fun. :D Just use the top 96 instead of 100 and show the NCAA that it's a bad idea!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

Oh, should tell you this. Saturday after I got to the arena and got my ticket, I went across the street to get something to eat at Rudy Tuesday. I sit down at the bar there and it took me like ten minutes of talking with him to realize that I'm sitting right next to Fogarty. He was down there as a Guest of the Alabama-Huntsville coach. That was just a fun small world conversations to have right there. :D

Actually, I'm not surprised. Fogs and Cole are good friends. Ron's a riot to listen to. Some of his stories are unbelievable.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

That's 'cause you got a year's worth in January, right?

Les, when I was at BU, I took scuba as an elective one semester. (One lousy credit.) At the end, they said, Congrats! You've earned your credit. Now all you need to do is do an open-water dive to get your scuba license. (Or badge. Or certification. Whatever it was.) The open-water dive? Boston Harbor, in April. I declined. Never got certified. :o

PLUGGING MY EARS - NOT GONNA SAY IT - NOT GONNA SAY IT
Boston Harbor? You would have needed to be decontaminated in any season.

Morning Lodge!
There's no rest. None. And the movie "Waiting"? Yeah, that is pretty accurate, allowing for the Hollywood treatment of course.
Exactly why I always tip well and I'm not my normal ******* self at restaurants! :p
Going to hit 70 here today, and the next day, and the next day. Of course, projections show it raining all weekend.

This will be the first snowless March for the Twin Cities since 1860.
Snowless March has been awesome. I have thoroughly enjoyed the warm weather!
Drive by from Tropical Grand Forks.
No matter what they tell you, DON'T GO TO RED PEPPER!!!!!!!!! You'd be better off getting some Taco Bell and leaving it in your trunk for a week before eating.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

It's gone. I don't know the name of the place that replaced it, but it was another pizza joint. I don't think the PNPs are in the south metro anymore.

there's one at Canterbury.

I bartended for two years and would love to get back into it. It's fun and the only job I've had so far where I can swear at the customers and yell at them if need be. Plus the tips were real nice.

If we're gonna open our own place, we're gonna need people that have experience in this field.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

'Morning, Lodge.

I've played both the retail and the food service game. (Coffee shop, not restaurant). I'd work in a coffee shop again in a heart beat. cft--think Cyberia is hiring at all?

Spring Break in 2 days. Sweet.

While I am not cft, I do believe you were aiming that question at me. :)
Best option with Cyberia is just to stop in and ask. Other than that, though, there's also the Java Shop which is on Pearl Street. :)
Fill out your sub paperwork for the CCISD yet?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 107: Now What??

Good morning tLodge.

Let's see, I have worked in retail and in restaurants, couldn't do either full time.

If it is boy, you should name him Ralph. :p :D

And if it's a girl, then it's Scarlet.:D
Funny, Rob wanted to have Ralph as a middle name. No go. And I love Scarlet and BU, but that's not happening either.

No one should have to go through life named Ralph. :D
:(

Oh yeah, and on a random note, I got accepted to the school I eventually want to transfer to in NC. That was pretty cool. Especially after they told me 6 times (4 via email, 2 via mail) that they needed to wait until they got my Spring transcript... Also, they offered me 13K in preliminary scholarships.

Belmont Abbey College, Motorsports Management.
I've been looking at it since I was in middle school, just never had the balls to consider moving that far.

Congrats! I live right down the road from there. If you need any info on the area, or for that matter, racing, (I used to be involved in racing and my husband still is (-- why do you think I live down here?)), or the nearest college hockey team (turns out there is some club level activity) email me.

Thanks legal! I'll definitely let you know when/if I ever get the balls to transfer. The fact that there's club level hockey activity makes me feel a little more excited about it. :p

So ctf will be the dishwasher? :p ;)

"mommy, why did you name me Ralph?"
"well, you see, there was this guy I met on the internet, he's really good with numbers and spreadsheets, everyone else on the internet thought I should name you after him, so I did"

:D
