Going to get to bed early tonight. I have to be in Green Bay tomorrow morning, which means I have to leave MSP even earlier in the morning. I might even be up Ralph-early!
Unfortunately, we're also driving back to MSP tomorrow late afternoon. I'm in for a long day.

Yes.

So found out something pretty cool through some research today.
It was always thought by my whole family that my middle name (Johanna) was my great-great-grandmother's first name. Well, through some distant relatives, I've found out that her name was actually Maria Johanna. This genealogy stuff is pretty sweet!

Soooo, just got word that I'm officially an RA for next year. Rollin in that cash moneyyyyyyy. /ghetto.

On a serious note though, this means not only do I get $1500 from the school (750/semester), but my parents have said they will throw me some extra money since this will come out to about 40k I will have saved them out of a total of 70k for schooling. This. Is. Awesome.

Apartment is flooded again. I'm too numb to even be upset. I had semi-prepared (gotten some stuff off the floor), but not everything. Luckily, computer was totally unplugged.

I just read that the boston folk have seen 13+ inches of rain this month. We're not too far behind at 11+ in the NYC area. Ridiculous month, hopefully there isn't any flooding that affects you guys seriously, stay high and dry.

Getting soewhere around 7 inches where we are. The rain is just incredible and the wind is crazy. The guy next door to us is losing his drivewway to washout again.

Thanks, guys. Legal - I think it's due to the ridiculous rain we've had and the location of the apartment. Near the ocean on a slope. I'll just hang in there for now. Staying with a friend nearby for the next few days.

So, I've come to a truce with the parents. I've spoken to each of them in the last few days, and things are at a shaky state of peace again.

As for their other daughter--she's being a twatwaffle. She took me off Facebook and won't answer any of my messages wondering what her deal is. Whatever. Whattheheckever.
