It's rather ironic that Mel is the one using math. :D

Time to make a "Will design roads for food" sign and go hang out at busy intersections. Just trying to keep my sense of humor.

We could use you in Charlotte. I don't know who designs roads for NCDOT, but they need help.

I was just there today. Well, I waited through a 2-hour layover in the airport, but still. It was cold there.

Yeah, it was some poster that I have never heard of before, that only has like 20 posts.

well if he has that few posts it could have been green. newbies can only give grey.:o

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 103: The Greatest Rep... to this point.

and they're probably Lil's age! :p

sweet, Lil is gonna get some!

I got gray rep after I told someone I thought it was slanderous of him to post that Jack Parker tells his players to deliberately injure other teams' players. It wasn't the person who said that as that person is all green. I suppose I should get Extra so I can see who it was that gave "It's common knowledge jackhole" rep to me.

Cancelled my hotel in Vermont. :( Still taking the day off, though.

you need to e-mail me, woman!

Well I just found out I've been put on company convenience leave which is basically a fancy way of putting somebody on unpaid status. The best part is it takes effect on Saturday. Thanks for giving me some notice.

Sure glad I made all the sacrifices I have made over the last three years for the company.

sorry man. Join me in the unemployment line. :)

Yeah, it was cold today, but spring is supposed to be here in the next couple of weeks. I can't wait! :)

Yeah, I know, but why would someone rep me anything in the NMU pick to click thread, the post was just me making my picks for this week. Maybe he's one of the players I picked dad. :p

Hm. Are you openly linked to the Tech fanbase? You might get dinged just for that amongst some of the NMU noobs.

In other news, my roommate has Baby Fever BAD. I give it a year after she's married TOPS before there's a kid in the picture. Holy crap.

I don't have anything in my sig or profile that indicates a connection to Tech...I'm really stumped on this one.

Are you trying to kill her?

As I said last March before the hockey east finals when swearing in front of the child... he's going to learn the words eventually :p

Two teams, two trips to the playoffs. I'm kind of a big deal. :p

You're probably just mooching off of players who are better than you. :p

That's why I was on teams my sophomore and senior seasons that actually won a few games. I had one goal in my entire 'career' because I couldn't shoot the ball worth crap, so I became a goalie. :D

Sounds like one of my cousins. She got married and popped out a kid within ten months. It makes sense - they are in Indiana farm country, so what else is there to do? ;)

Serious bummer:mad:
:( But at least they're common surgeries with relatively low risk (obviously, there's always some risk). Good to hear that she's doing better.

That's obscene. I would tell goldy who you work for and others in the field. If they're going to mistreat employees who have dedicated the amount of time and sacrifice as you have, they deserve a hit in the junk (wallet, whatever).

:p Awesome.

Frustrating day here. The kids in my stats class are starting to make me nuts. Now, it hasn't been that long since I was in school the first time around, but the kids in my classes were a might bit more respectful to the professor then. The kids in this class talk back to the professor, talk loudly to each other when she is lecturing, cheat, and are generally rude to both the professor and the other students. It's quite unbelievable (and annoying as all hell).
I met my best friends in college after I told this chick off who was making fun of our Chem professor. He was a great guy just over from China. He tried really hard and worked so hard to make sure we got wha the was teaching. The nasty chick would mimic and mock him and one day just as I was starting to get something she started up. I went off on her and he stopped to let me. Considering that was 30 yrs ago I don't think jerks change with the generations.

They were college age, in fairly skimpy outfits and apparently good lookin'

heh. He has been in the locker room since infancy. He used to come home and repeat stuff that I shouldn't have heard. For awhile the boys would watch what they said but i doubt it now.
