Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 103: The Greatest Rep... to this point.

And I like Indian food, even if it's a bit... temporary. :o
I <3 Indian food, but I haven't had it in so long... :(

UNC-Wilmington has a team. One of their guys is on Youtube with a "How To Play Ice Hockey" series. (I hear their stadium has awesome grits. And sweet-tea. :p )

Thanks a lot. :o --grumble, grumble
Tell me you're not kidding! I'd love to go and eat grits and watch hockey!

:p You can make it without the chicken. I'll post the recipe if you'd like.

I don't know anyone who thinks they can play guitar because they can play Guitar Hero - they just think it's more fun than "the princess is in another castle" or playing WoW.

but if they sat down and played SMB3, they might realize the amazing powers of the hammer suit. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 103: The Greatest Rep... to this point.

So our tentative itinerary for my summer training cruise has changed a bit. We go to Malaga, Spain; Piraeus, Greece; Dublin, Ireland!; Valetta, Malta; and Brest, France. We'll be in France for almost the end of the Tour, which should be pretty awesome, however it will be nowhere near us.

Anybody got some inside info about any of these places?

Not worth the 4+ hour drive. (If I am going to drive that far, I'll do the nine hours to UAH) You'd think after living here for four years I'd have learned to appreciate sweet-tea. Yeah, not so much. Grit are another story.

Apparently App State has a team, they (or a bunch of their supporters) were at a local (well, if you consider 35 miles away local) rink the other night. I am going to have to do some more investigating.

But either way Club Hockey in NC <<< DI in Conn. Besides, the teams in Conn. might not be so good, but they do get visitors that are much more fun to watch (ie. UNH, Cornell, etc)

man... haven't had grits since HHI right after christmas :(

"I just never seen an actual grit before." :p

I was just making that up. They might have grits, but I wouldn't actually know.

And yeah, post the recipe! But only if you keep the chicken. I'm no vegematarian. (Now I'm thinking of sausage and peppers, and that made me think of that movie "Dinner Rush." Did you see that?)

The first time I visited NC a friend picked me up at the airport, and we stopped at some fast-food place for breakfast, and they already had three giant sweet-tea dispensers set up on the counter. For breakfast! (It was good, tho'. :) )

Will do. I think the chicken makes the sauce frankly.

I've never heard of that movie... Will have to look it up. I love food movies. :)

ETA - was talking to mom while I was cooking dinner. She wanted to know why I'm not going to culinary school. :o I told her I'd lend her a copy of No Reservations for a peek into a chef's life (even the tamer years aren't easier years).

(256): my mom found all the used condoms in my bed side table
(1-256): whatd she say to you?
(256): no words- put them all in a circle, put the bible in the middle
Is it common practice to keep used condoms?

I know its Alabama, but still.

:D I didn't know it was tape delayed. I checked the Grand Forks Herald for my daily read during period break and a headline stated that Parise sent us into the semis. :D
