One of the things I love about my job is that my TV is three feet from my desk. (I could move it closer, but there's too many screens on my desk already.)

Just found out an hour ago that my friends that were driving me to Vermont have just decided not to go. :( :mad: I am not making that drive on my own given the weather forecast. Unless I can find another ride really soon, I have to cancel the hotel or be forced to pay for Friday night even though I'm not there. mookie - you're not going by any chance, are you??

So, I got a message while I was subbing today: they induced the teacher I'm going to be long-terming for. There's no school Thursday or Friday, so starting Monday it's go time!

I just realized I have an in-class exam this Friday. I skip that class every Friday to go to a seminar, and I'm the seminar speaker this week. So not only do I have to deal with trying to reschedule my exam...I only have about two days to study for an exam and prepare a talk (and finish the problem set I've spent the last day or two on).

To make things worse, the professor said "it's unusual for somebody to have to reschedule an in-class exam". At some point I'm going to have to ask if I can reschedule our second in-class exam because it's the Friday of the Frozen Four. :(

sorry dear... both games on tv + a season that has me in the dumps = mookie staying home. (and i really like the Gutt too)

Guitar Hero (and Rock Hero, and all those Hero games) are abortions. "I can play guitar!!! I rock on expert level death metal!!" No, you can't, and hooray for you.

And I have good hand-eye coordination, thankyouverymuch. :p

Took a little longer than I thought to cook dinner tonight. :o But it is tasty. Chicken, broccoli, peppers, onion over cavatappi with a garlic white wine sauce. :)

I don't know anyone who thinks they can play guitar because they can play Guitar Hero - they just think it's more fun than "the princess is in another castle" or playing WoW.

UNC-Wilmington has a team. One of their guys is on Youtube with a "How To Play Ice Hockey" series. (I hear their stadium has awesome grits. And sweet-tea. :p )
