Domestic machine today: at work have folded 5 loads of laundry, baked 3 loaves of pumpkin bread. Am doing a load of laundry for myself now because I don't have time when I get home tonight because it's cookie making time (chocolate crinkles and buckeyes tonight).

Just finished the wrapping - can do most of my gifts at home, but had to do tcbg's gifts at work (the one downside to living together ... hard to keep gifts a surprise!). Will do the decorating with ribbon and a bow at home, but at least they're wrapped.Chocolate crinkles and f*keyes, for any Michigan fans in the room.
Just finished a batch of brownies myself - maybe I'll make another type of cookie later if I'm ambitious, but I have presents to wrap in the meantime.
Yup - made it from scratch (except the pumpkin, used the can), but now it won't bake. Have had it in for an hour and the knife still isn't coming out clean the way it should...
There is something wrong with the oven here - I burnt the crap out of some cookies here on Monday and my dinners don't always cook right when I use it. I want them to purchase an oven thermometer to see what the deal is.

I'm still getting used to tcbg's. It's a bit warm, but I also think the recipe I used last night has a temperature that is too hot for the cookies. I burnt the bottoms of one set (20 of 50, not a travesty, but annoying enough to spend several minutes mentally cursing out the oven). I miss my gas stoves/ovens from Boston.
Me thinks a small offering of coal from Santa should be in order for him. I sure if you called around you could find somebody that could deliever a small dumptruck of it right at the end of the brat's driveway.
