Me too. And 7 days until the the other NP (the one who is such a knucklehead) is leaving. More work but The Doc and I actually do our work. :happy dance:

Glad you enjoyed the show. Just bought the wife tickets to "Billy Elliot" as part of her Christmas present.

I have one more present to buy - a laptop. It will be the family laptop unless my kid gets all his core class grades up to A or B, in which case it becomes his.

Morning, kids! Logging in from work. Just found out that instead of a full day tomorrow, I don't have to be at work until 2. My only concern is $ - since I'm not working a full day that day, not working the Monday after Christmas and unsure of the set up for New Years, my paycheck for the 5th of January could be quite quite low. :o

Today is the first of 12 days off for me. I need to run out to get one more thing for one of my nieces, then going to pick up my brother to take him with me to Harvard Square so I can get a gift certificate. There's no parking there, so he can drive around while I run in. Then it's home for a marathon wrapping extravaganza!

I have four older brothers. Brother #3 did this with glee written across his face as soon as Brother #4's kids would open their gifts. His best find was this little duck that made some obnoxious "rock 'n' roll" sound, but matched no genre of rock I've ever known. It was called "Disco Duck," if memory serves. It was a huge hit with the youngest kid. So much so that he "wore out" the batteries within two days, and for whatever reason new batteries couldn't fix it. It was the Great Christmas Mystery for my youngest nephew.

I hate working the week before Christmas. Unless Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye show up, I'm channelling Ebeneezer Scrooge for the day Or until 5:01 PM tomorrow when I get to stop working.

so my schedule had me originally sitting in reserve in Greensboro for the next 5 days. Instead, I'm in Bangor tonight and Pittsburgh tomorrow night. Christmas day I sit reserve in Pittsburgh.

But it's not Greensboro and I'm getting paid. So therefore I'm happy. Am I crazy?

Since all I have to do is bake cookies and I don't have to be at work until 2pm-ish tomorrow. I think I'll have some hot amaretto chocolate...err....hot chocolate laced with amaretto. Long day... :o
