Morning, Lodge! Enjoying the morning off. Tcbg is making brown sugar and ancho glazed bacon and scrambled eggs. We're getting ready to make trifle, rumballs, and to cover the peanut butter balls in chocolate. Then it's off to work where we will also be celebrating Christmas Eve. Then it's on the road for a 6 hour drive back to PA to celebrate Christmas Day with my family.

Good morning Lodge. Heading out in an hour or so to go visit my goddaughter to give her her present (a BU hockey jersey with red turtleneck and leggings!) and visit with her family. Then it's off to my aunt's house for Christmas Eve dinner. My cousin made it in from Ann Arbor. Her husband did not as his grandmother is not doing well. Spending Christmas Eve at mom and dad's house and Christmas Day up at my brother's house. I probably won't be online till Sunday (unless something interesting happens and I do have my iPhone - ha!)
Wishing all my fellow Lodgeonians the merriest of Christmases. I hope you all enjoy your time with your family and friends and that Santa is good to you!!

Morning, Lodge. Pretty sure my aunt will be up tonight for the evening church service, and my sister, BIL and their little twin boys ought to be here in the early evening too. Presents are wrapped, decorations are up, cookies are done, stockings are hung by the fire(place) with care)... holy *, I think we can celebrate Christmas now.

my niece want's some heart ring from tiffany's. fine. what size? "don't know". why don't you know? "never got a ring". so go to a jeweler and have them measure, don't have to buy... "oh yeah".
this morning... let's go to the mall. "no way. too crowded". let's go "i'm hungover. i can't go". you are not that smart, are you "huh?".

I do miss my annual trip to Atlantic City on Christmas Day with my mother (which wouldn't have actually been on Christmas Day this year since Christmas is a Saturday).

Busy day yesterday, had three rubs all back to back to back, on a family from Poland, nice people. Then, work was pretty slow so I crashed out on the Bio-Mat, and didn't wake up til at least an hour after Stacy had the last appointment of the day and had left me a note to finish locking up the place. Piddled around a bit before going over to the GF a bit. then I got a call from Mom saying she got her truck stuck in the driveway. She needs to get new tires for it anyways, but she caught a bit of the snow thats drifted into the driveway, and just got it stuck. I tried it a few times, my brother tried to get it with his 4 wheeler, and then finally we got the tractor out and got it unstuck.
Now, just need to wrap a few things up here tonight. And try to resist the temptation of getting into my mom's tea ring.

JFC I hate mall lots. If any of you engineers want a challenge, you can redesign the Ridgedale area lot/roads. It's literally a maze where you can barely get in or out.
Anyway, picked up a Toy Story 3 computer thingy that teaches vocab and has puzzles and such for the 4 year old niece. Yes it makes noise. I got one of those Little Big People (something like that) barnyard sets for the 2 year old. I don't think that one makes noise, though. I tell ya, I'm pretty lost when it comes to buying kids' toys. Hope these turn out okay.
