Walrus, I feel your pain. Glad it's behind you now. Err . . .

Dave, what place is this? (in case I am there for work in a few months. [office is at The Lee Gardens? Hysan Ave? Causeway Bay??--wherever these are ?

Must be the ManuLife Building! No, my mal-directed friend, I was at the Hong Kong Brew House in Lan Kwai Fong, the big expat after-hours neighborhood. Where you're talking about -- Lee Gardens (the building) and Hysan Avenue (the street) and especially Causeway Bay (the neighborhood) -- there's plenty to do as well. If that trip of yours materializes, we'll get you all up to speed.

Good luck! If there is a guy named Ryan Strand in that company, he's my cousin's son. The one whose wedding we attended this summer. He plays the part of "Swing." Not sure which sites he is playing at.

He was there - saw him. Small part. The show was really good. I may need to download some Four Seasons tunes.

Is there anybody out there? Just nod if you can hear me....

Re: Rep Lodge 126: Merry ****ing Festivus!!!!

I'm confused, too.

Granted, I only buy two presents nowadays (one for each niece), but:

1. Target
2. Christmas Eve
3. Walk in as soon as they unlock those doors.

Problem solved within 20 minutes, at best. Most of that time finding the noisiest toys I can get, to annoy my brother/SIL. :D

I have four older brothers. Brother #3 did this with glee written across his face as soon as Brother #4's kids would open their gifts. His best find was this little duck that made some obnoxious "rock 'n' roll" sound, but matched no genre of rock I've ever known. It was called "Disco Duck," if memory serves. It was a huge hit with the youngest kid. So much so that he "wore out" the batteries within two days, and for whatever reason new batteries couldn't fix it. It was the Great Christmas Mystery for my youngest nephew.

Morning. Night. The bar was good tonight, saw lots of people I haven't seen in a while. Pizza was good when I got home from said bar.
