When do you NOT do that? Unless I'm wearing gloves,:confused: it's the way I always do it at the hotel coffee/tea bars.

Morning Lodge. Meeting some buddies for lunch then taking the afternoon off to go shopping with the kid.

Good morning! I'm off until the 30th......two days this week :D and one day next week:D :D I could get use to that.
Need to get to the grocery story later today, I am making Creme Brulee with the magster on Friday. I picked up a beef loin at Rainbow (local grocery store) for $25 a couple of weeks ago and I need to get a few things for the sauces I'm making for that.....it's gonna be a yummy Christmas!

UGH! When I was interning in January at the gutbusters, they had a new tech and he wasn't giving patients enough sedative. They were waking during the procedure almost every time! :eek: :eek:

I don't do it ... it's wasteful. :o I particularly hate when I order an iced coffee at Dunkin Donuts (comes in a plastic cup) and they try to stick a styrofoam one over it! Styrofoam doesn't biodegrade...and there's no reason to put one over ICED coffee!

Morning, Lodge! Back at work. Planning to make potato leek soup for dinner and two kinds of cookies tonight. Then all I have left for tomorrow night is one more kind of cookie...and it doesn't really require baking (you make it using scraps from cakes). :)

I went to my usual deli this morning to get my grilled corn muffin, feeling extrememly guilty that I didn't get the guys that work there a gift. I've gotten them scratch cards before. I usually only go there once a week, if that. But the main guy behind the counter knows what I order and I never have to wait in line. This morning he tells me they just ran out of corn muffins. Bummer. Well, now I can get them the scratch cards later, in January. Glad I didn't have them with me or that might have been awkward! So, I go to my building's cafeteria and they have hardly anything out. I know it's the last day of the week here, but it wasn't even 9am!! How do you run out of plain bagels?? They're a staple. This is not the way I wanted my day to start. I have a feeling it's going to get worse from here.

Off to San Francisco tomorrow morning. Need to buy 1 or 2 small items for Christmas before I leave.

I'm super excited to have middle seats on both flights... :rolleyes:

Just got back from spending some time in class with little g at pre school. We made a kick azz gingerbread house. It was a blast! It was neat watching him interact with his peers in a classrooom setting. I cannot begin to express how proud I am of him and how impressed I was at the things he can do in that setting. Most of his classmates are really supportive and I didn't realize just how popular he is with his peers. (except one little jack bag that calls little g a retard)

Before that I met up with some friends for breakfast and before that I cleared the driveway. I like this not working gig. :)

Me thinks a small offering of coal from Santa should be in order for him. I sure if you called around you could find somebody that could deliever a small dumptruck of it right at the end of the brat's driveway. ;)



Busy day yesterday. Had three rubs yesterday, one on this one guy who was just tense all over. Just glad he was at the end of the day. :p

The sleeve usually works fine, but that may be because I like coffee light and that cools it a bit.

Hi.

Been awfully strange days over the past week. HN had his gall bladder removed Monday morning. Took him to the ER last Wednesday night where they found he had gall stones and gall stone pancreatitis. He was released yesterday. So happy he's home and continuing to improve. :)

I know he just started working there and all, but couldn't he have come up with a less painful way to get a few extra days off work for the holidays? ;)

Glad to hear he's recovering well.
