No, but apparently they say we can no longer carry anything into the building that requires 2 hands, or talk on the phone while outdoors at work. Luckily for me, I ignore all of that BS and just go about like I usually do, because I'm not a ****ing idiot.

Are you guys hiring a lot of SCSU grads recently?

Not that I know of, though possibly in HR...

I gave myself the day off from work and spent the morning getting in the Christmas spirit. I joined some friends at an inner city school--for a fund-raising effort--helping cut evergreen garlands, loading Christmas trees on a truck for delivery to various neighborhoods in and around Denver and put the finishing touches on Christmas wreaths people will be hanging on their doors. I tried to help the effort a bit by buying four wreaths, all of which we'll give to family and friends.

After that I joined a buddy of mine for lunch and then stopped at a store to buy some poinsettias for my wife and me to give to neighbors as Christmas presents. It's not exactly wintry weather today as the temperature is currently sixty-three degrees in our 'hood. More like golf weather than hockey weather.

It was a terrific way to spend the morning and I'd do it again in a minute. Enjoy the rest of your day folks.

yes, I'm well aware. My point is the Denver metro is quite vast, to the point that I have barely scratched the surface myself. There's a lot to still show you.

I'll take you to Casa Bonita next time. It will be my first time too...so we'll enjoy it together. Quiz says their margs are good...and that's about it.

like Twitch said, Colfax is an experience. We can buy you a hooker, if you want. There's also the western Bingo's monopoly equivalent there. The blue horse of doom is some crappy statue of a horse that is creepy beyond belief. It has giant horse junk too. Disturbing

Have you been to the Brewery Bar II lately? or at all? It's a dive but great Mexican food.

Grrrrrrrr...... Really boring today, there been 3 clients here today, and none of them were mine. Nothing else booked for me either yet. Ughhhh, think I missed passing another test this week by 1 question. If so, that means I have 4 tests next week. More sleep deprivation!

So my Visa got declined at the gas station.

Apparently buying a PS3, Gran Turismo 5, and a racing wheel from Amazon right around Christmastime, shipped and billed to the very billing address Visa has on file, will set off fraud protection. I didn't even get a "here's your last 5 charges, press 1 to verify them" call, just straight to a block.

Bellying up to the *hockey table at my usual seat with the usual beverage. They actually did look better tonight but had a woman from UNH behind me that never shut up with the most caustic, irritating voice (not an indoor voice and got louder as the game went on) and was completely ignorant about the game. When our player got kicked in the head and was down, clutching his head, she called for a penalty on him for delay, yelling for him to get off the ice ~until one of her party clued her in that he was hurt. Color commentary on every play, all using the players first names, mostly having no idea what she was watching. My favorite- 2 UNH guys colided w/goalie and were flat out in the crease and she was yelling for the ref to clear our guys out of the crease. They couldn't have gotten in there unless they stood on someone. Lil said if he had a gun with one bullet he wasn't sure if he would shoot her or himself in case shooting her didn't shut her up. She scored every goal personally after telling them what they should be doing. If I had season tickets next to her I think I would never go to a game again. Tried to use my earbuds from the itouch to block her out but unfortunately they are built to let external sound in Ackkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!

Wow, so I have the world's greatest mom. I found out last night that she hooked me up with 8 lower level tickets to the wild. Four in the 7th row (our normal seats) and four in the 12th in the same section. I'm excited. Going out after and getting drunk.

Actually, I think this kind had less alcohol than the one I usually get. But it's December. It's a winter drink. And it's actually probably a good thing. I don't need to be hungover at work tomorrow.
