Actually, I think this kind had less alcohol than the one I usually get. But it's December. It's a winter drink. And it's actually probably a good thing. I don't need to be hungover at work tomorrow.

You're just training for the F4. ;)

So my Visa got declined at the gas station.

Apparently buying a PS3, Gran Turismo 5, and a racing wheel from Amazon right around Christmastime, shipped and billed to the very billing address Visa has on file, will set off fraud protection. I didn't even get a "here's your last 5 charges, press 1 to verify them" call, just straight to a block.
They do that now. See it a few times a day at work where a card will get denied and it's supposedly my fault and I have to force it through even though there's no way to do it.

Good Morning Lodge.

Saw some high school hockey last night. Skating cheerleaders who have never skated before = comedy gold

I forgot to mention that when I was in Grand Forks the other night, I caught a few minutes of the Dave Hakstol show. He looks just as constipated on his own show as he does behind the bench. :p

Good morning. The non-wintry weather continues today as it's already fifty-seven degrees at nine A.M. with the forecast high predicted to reach sixty-four. My wife and I are picking up our Christmas tree this afternoon and will be decorating it this evening. Tomorrow we're going to lunch at a friend's house where forty or fifty people will gather and then heading to some land he owns in Golden to cut down several Christmas trees for friends of ours.

We're already looking forward to next weekend when we'll head to Breck for our first skiing of the season. Conditions in the central ski counties of Colorado continue to be exceptionally good for this early in the ski season. It's always fun to get back on skis for the first day of our ski season. I hope everyone enjoys the upcoming weekend.:)

Morning, Lodge. Baking some bread today - probably in the form of dinner rolls, because I'm crashing with people who don't seem to have a bread pan. :o

So that's what the history buffs are calling it these days.

edit: and my condolances for your gf not having a "bread pan" must be tough for you ;)

So if there's a job opportunity that is both interesting and might help your career path, but the hours are 3am - 11:30am ... do you apply for it?

Depends on if you want to end up like the commie, or not.
