Hey I just remembered that its my birthday next weekend. There might be some drinking in order. It shouldn't be hard to find willing participants around here...

Tuesday. They timed it with the end of the month, so that they could cancel my benefits right then too. Not too terrible though. Technically this is my 2 weeks notice period so I'm getting paid 'til Dec 14th without working, and then I get 5 weeks severance beyond that.

As many of you know, I've been complaining about that place for ages, so I'm not all that upset about it. Hopefully I'll find a better job soon enough.

I hope there's room at the * hockey table, I didn't make a reservation, and didn't think I'd be there tonight. Then my team blew the 2-1 lead with under a minute to go and lost in overtime. Why is our goalie shorter than I am?

Denver has won seven in a row and is 9-1 in its last ten.

Yes. THis is medicine. Weird hours are a staple.

I want to destroy something beautiful.

1. Got out of work at 8. That's an hour-and-a-half late. Why? Because we waste about 4-5 manhours on our morning meeting that's supposed to last about 1 manhour (hours x people there = manhour). This happens EVERY FRIGGIN' DAY.

2. Got buried in my area today. I look around, boss has sent others to help other areas. Not mine (although, part of it is due to lack of people trained in my area). Still.....was about 1/2 hour behind all day.

3. Gophers lost. Am so glad I missed the first part of the game, and was in a bad mood already, so I said * it, and watched a movie instead. It coulda been another Mankato Meltdown night otherwise.

So, in summary, gimme a *ing drink. Make it a quadruple.
