And 'diva, that drive from the airport to Denver is wonnnnnnnderful. The highlight is the evil Satan horse.
Ugh - I hated that drive. It was the only reason that we got a car when we went to Denver since the light-rail and walking were sufficient means of transportation. And the car was more expensive than my tickets to the game.
Dead guys in Mexican ghettos? Satan horses? Christ on a cracker, do I really want to make this trip??
You do - Denver is a great place. Tons to see and do, plus great for someone who likes to workout outdoors.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. It was a pretty good day to start, and dinner made it a pretty awesome day.

And 'ewe, don't forget that the Satan Horse killed its creator. Nope, not kidding. A piece of the statue fell on him and he died.

Re: Rep Lodge 125: The Thanksgiving Dinner Version: Gimme Some More...

Not sure if it's deserving of it's own thread, so I'll just post here:

I recently bought a couple of hard drive enclosures to convert some old laptop hard drives to external drives. The one laptop HD worked perfectly, but my older IBM hard drive is stubborn. I didn't realize there was going to be the difference (both laptops were just two years apart in age)

Seems the IBM has this PATA hard drive: https://www.archmemory.com/pata.jpg
And the hard drive enclosure I picked up only fits this drive: https://www.archmemory.com/sata.jpg
Here's the enclosure I picked up: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817729011

Is there anything I can pick up to convert it from PATA to SATA? Or should I just look for a PATA enclosure and be done with it?

I know nothing about this, but googling "PATA to Sata convertor' brings up a lot of things, but I suspect that getting a new enclosure is simpler.

Hi Lodge. Back from NoDak. Wasn't as bad as it could have been. Boring though.

Belated Happy Birday Ewe!

Am on a borrowed laptop. My regular one is being rebuilt with Windows 7 (had Vista). Was supposed to happen yesterday while I was in ND - didn't.

Re: Rep Lodge 125: The Thanksgiving Dinner Version: Gimme Some More...

I just got a work email reminding all employees how to walk in the winter. 10 rules to follow while walking from your car to the building during the winter. Has it really come to this? Are people this stupid?

Which foot do they recommend you lead with when starting to walk?

Are you guys hiring a lot of SCSU grads recently?

Grrrrrrrr...... Really boring today, there been 3 clients here today, and none of them were mine. Nothing else booked for me either yet. All but ready to offer up some special idle hands discount to anybody who calls here. I would post the number, but somehow I know that we would get a bunch of crank callers from Minnesota most likely.
