Yeah, I live in the capital of the free world... not that simple, sadly... that isn't to say its THAT much different than downtown Minneapolis or Boston... but I just can't grab a 5 dollar winter hat from walmart. edit: I'm not trying to be over the top... its a screwed up place, that's why I have to do things right.

bigblue... like the hats but I don't think it works with the one (black pea)coat of mine... certainly works with other things though... but i'm not going to after jackets until I lose this weight... some day... some day...

5 hours of sleep last night... I'm tired.

I actually did get passed by the WI DNR truck with all its lights on my way to Marinette at about the same the situation was starting.

Also there was a bank robbery that happened earlier in the day in Amberg (half hour west of Marinette) and the suspect was caught by: THE DNR

So, one of my best friend's wife and I are in cahoots. No, not in that way, you sickos.

I'm flying to CO Springs without his knowledge, to party with them on New Year's Eve. It was her idea to do this for his b-day this year, but I couldn't get the time off. So I thought of NYE. This is going to rule.

Couple thoughts:

1. I remember when "going to Chicago" meant something else on this board. ;)
2. Going to Chi to hang with Scarlet would be pretty cool.
3. Mmmm, breweries. But, alas, probably won't have time. I think this will be a two-day bender, and no sight-seeing. Although, this will be my 3rd trip in less than 3 years out there; I've seen most of the sights out there.

It's hump day. It's also cold and windy outside.

My interview yesterday was less of an interview and more of a "hey, when can you start?" :D I am starting my new job before the end of the year. Thank god! (though it doesn't let him off the hook for that dropped TD pass)

When are you flying out? Not the same time I am by chance? I'm going mid-morning on the 30th, if the times work out, I can pick you up and give you a ride. Then we can have a morning drink at the airport before we head off to our destinations.
