Not their best effort but a win to start the second half. They seemed to get better as the game wore on which is encouraging. Good way to shake off the rust.

Well, that's better.

Not sure if that result was us being good or UConn being really bad. Probably a combo of both. Because UConn was not good. But they don't ask how, they only ask how many. Two honks tonight, Mr. Bus Driver.

Glad to see the game was on ESPN3 -- though I think UConn's announcer is an auctioneer in his spare time -- thatdudetalksreallyfastwow.

UConn stinks. While it was nice to get a win to start the 2ns half they were crisp against a crappy team. Interesting to see how they play against Colgate and Cornell this weekend.

It was nice to see the D clean up after Shortridge. Couple big clears by Rafferty and one by Davidson I saw while game was still 1-0. I think Shortridge bailed them out as well on a couple occasions as well. One game at a time.

Colgate will be without Colton Point Friday night, worries this Gate fan. Doubt you're coming to Hamilton Mark, awful weather, maybe cya in Placid !:)

Monster break that Quinnipiac won't have to face Colton Point. The other 2 goalies on Colgate stink so I would think this game could favor Quinnipiac considering the Colgate offense isn't very good either. Without Point they have up 10 goals in two games to UNH this year with each of the backups seeing a game.

Cardiac kids... but they pulled it out in OT. The last minute of the 3rd was scary but they stood tall and took the win which is all that matters.

Fairly good play most of the game. 'Gate never had any sustained pressure and their 3 goals were all extra-attacker.

On to Ithaca tomorrow.

Progress. We went from calamities in the first half to nearly having a calamity tonight.

A win's a win. You don't get style points.

A win is a win but they struggled late and this is a team minus Colton Point. They should have put Colgate away with a backup in net.
