Quinnipiac Bobcats 2017-18: Chase the dream...

First time in 11 years that Quinnipiac didn't beat Dartmouth at least once in a season. Embarrassing for this to happen.

Tough comment... I am sure team feels it. Watched this am. Hail Mary is correct. For a program that has been so strong ok to have down season. The 2 goals from behind net were tough too

When it is all said and done, I believe last night's game was pretty even especially with the ebbs and flows. Now a couple of unbiased observations: You guys are not nearly as talented offensively and defensively compared to previous years..you could count on at least 1-2 PP goals, especially a high slot tip in in the past. It seemed like on your PP that players had N/S lanes rather than a stagger on the entry with possession and once you have gained the zone your rotating umbrella had guys open but they were unwilling to shoot while the guys down low were non-existent until a shot came. On 5 on 5 play your forecheck was dynamite with great puck pressure on your chip N chase whereas in past years you guys had controlled possession to gain the zone. Also your guys don't possess that badass (both mental and physical) on D that teams were afraid of rather D guys that lost their fair share of 50/50 puck battles. Good luck the rest of the way as it is shaping up to be a top 1/3 of teams and everybody else.

Agreed. The team played a solid game and Petruzelli was great. Nothing he could do on either goal. He got a lot of help in front as well. Hopefully it was a big boost in confidence for him. Also nice to see the power play connect for a couple.

Rand mixed things up with O'Connor and Brown playing, along with KP in net. Maybe they can build on the positives going to Arizona next weekend. Since the games are essentially meaningless to our season, perhaps they can just go out and have some fun. Keep things loose and see what happens. There's still room to make some noise going down the stretch.

Hey guys! ASU fan here. For those coming out to the desert this weekend, welcome! I wanted to give you guys a few tips I gave the UML fans for your game at Oceanside. Like UML, your tickets are probably general admission. Which means first come, first served in sections A, B and G. It can be a pain if they have sold 750 tickets as that means some folks will end up standing. Coming in when doors open at 6 is your best bet to getting the best seat possible. It can be rather cold in there if they don't run the overhead heaters. So be sure to dress in layers. As for the game at Gila, there will be more than enough space to move around. It will be night and day differences between the two games, with both having there downsides. Weather looks decent on Friday, but a little chilly on Saturday (for us anyway). UML folks seemed to have a good weekend and hope you all do as well. I'm in section D, Row 2 (ASU jersey) at Oceanside if you want to stop by or need anything during your visit. Safe travels and good luck over the weekend!

ASU plays the heavy game, similar to Lowell, and a few others. They are big in the back but not particularly fast. It's important not to let them get the lead.

Good to see them battle back for the tie. Not sure why they did the extra OT since it's meaningless other than for bragging rights.

That arena was a joke. Tomorrow on a regulation sheet should be better.

Makes the NIP look like a palace.

Didn’t see this before last night’s game, it would have come in handy as I froze my butt off. I’ve been in AZ all week and in PHX since Wednesday and have to say you are all some of the nicest people in the US. Thanks for the hospitality. Now if you could give us a win tonight, that would be quite neighborly of you. :)

Oceanside is quite chilly and the bleacher seats don't help. Rand was great with this comments last night talking about our 80 million dollar building that will be coming online for the 2020-21 season. You will get the opposite feeling tonight playing in a beautiful arena, but with empty seats galore.

Glad you have enjoyed the trip! It was awesome seeing so many of your fans at the game. They seem like a great group. Best of luck tonight and for the rest of the season!

Nice effort tonight. It was amazing watching the difference in their game on a normal sheet of ice. Much faster and their passing was as good as it's been all season. Power play looked better than it's been as well.

Ten days off and then it's all league play the rest of the way. They need to take as many points as they can. A 5 thru 8 finish is not out of the question and there's still an outside shot at a top-4. It's crunch time...
