Quinnipiac Bobcats '12-'13 - Go fourth and conquer!

Re: Quinnipiac Bobcats '12-'13 - Go fourth and conquer!

With the Yale loss tonight, the Bobcats can clinch the Cleary Cup on Friday.

They could have clinched on Friday without Yale losing tonight, it's just that now they control Cleary Cup fate on Friday.

Yes, I should have been clearer with my statement. Here's to a skate around with the "Cup" on Friday!

Really? I thought touching regular season trophy = bad playoff ju-ju. (I have no clue if Cornell skated with the Cleary Bedpan the years they won it)

I wonder if Pecknold is annoyed that he put the contract squeeze on Qpac a season too early?

I should be at the game tonight with my wife. Who should I keep an eye on on the ice? Getting a look at the competition ;)

I could see the streak coming to an end this weekend. Hopefully no let up, but it seems like a stumble is inevitable.

Tonight has me a bit nervous. They have historically not played well against St. Lawrence since coming to the ECAC.

My thoughts exactly.

A loss before the ECAC tournament wouldn't be the worst thing in the world either. The undefeated season would be incredible, but a streak that would be pushing past 30 in the post season would have me very nervous... albeit it would be awesome.

I'll be in the University Club during the game.
Oh... you're one of them! ;)

I'll be the guy rooting for QU with a BC jersey on; if anyone else is there feel free to say hi.
Us minions will be in our usual spot at the 113 post (center ice behind the visiting bench).

Game day at the Bank and the place should be rocking. I just hope the guys don't lose focus. While SLU is on a roll of late, they'll be in our house and there's a lot on the line for us. 2 points and we clinch the Cleary. I'd much rather do it by winning ourselves than having Yale lose.

If the guys come out as focused as they have been, play their stout D, and Hartzell is on his game, we should be just fine.

I can't believe I'm going to stand there tonight and watch my beloved Bobcats skate out as the #1 ranked team in the land. Is there anyone here who thought we'd see this day so soon? It's been a remarkable season thus far and I'd like to see it continue trending upward.

Go Q!

Really excited for this weekend's games. Every weekend just gets us more jacked up. A few of us (your boys Larson and Schvatz included) watched the road games online last weekend and it was intense. Thx to them for their hospitality.

I'm waiting for the Bobcats to get back into the shutout column. They've been close the last few weeks. One-goal games are pretty but Hartzy needs a shutout!

By the way, you really should check out the Boston Globe's feature on QU athletic director Jack McDonald. He deserves a TON of credit for what's gone on at our university over the last 15-plus years. I'm sure all the diehard Bobcat supporters here (here's looking at you, Fred) share my feelings.

Go Bobcats!
