I think that's generally been more of a thing on the guy's side. It's been a pretty regular occurence on the women's side that the host team has taken the early game at the NCAA Division III women's ice hockey championships. The last team that I recall taking the late game was RIT in 2011 and they abruptly switched the next year while on their way to winning the title.

Lady Cards win 1-0 after about 15 minutes of OT - SOG was 64-25.

Should be a Cake Walk for the Lady Cards. There are 2-0 in H2H against the Cadets. Plus they have had the best body of work this year and have the Player of the Year in goal. Best of luck to the Cadets and here's hoping to make it 2-0 in closing out the Cards Hockey Programs this year.;)

Tonight's game should be a good match up. I'm thinking of making the trip across the ferry to watch the game. What time do tickets go on sale? There may actually be more team fans at this game than the Lewiston Me finals. 251 days till Nov 28th in Middlebury VT.

"Tickets are scheduled to go on sale at 2 p.m. each day at the Plattsburgh State Field House box office and are separate for each day of the tournament. Prices are $15 for adults and $10 dollars for college students with ID each day. Friday's ticket holders will get the chance to see both semifinal games while Saturday's will be admitted to the third-place and national championship games"

I'll watch this instead of the All-(mid)West Men's final (at least the smell of the SUNYAC was removed from the title chase yesterday :D :p:p
