Re: Oswego State 2009-10 Regular Season Thread

The class of '09 received the home whites from '07, the sweaters they were wearing when they won the national championship.!

So does that mean that they had new home whites since then and before this year?

I was amazed at the quality of the WTOP web casts at the end of last year. Please get those rolling again! Do a fundraiser car wash if you have to!

We're working on it. Everyone is still trying to get situated in their new roles, which will help quality. Webcasting, apparently, is shelved until next semester. We're looking into working out a way to acquire the financials.

Remember, I did leave you a budget. It's not big, but it will help you get started (and should at least cover fees for the Plattsburgh game... right?). If you don't use it this year you won't get it again, so spend that money!

Tell your sales director to sell spots for the webcasting. That's another 2,000+ viewers. I'd suggest going to the hotels for those and telling people that your webcast will be going to parents of the Lakers and also people looking to make a long road trip (Plattsburgh/Potsdam fans).

That budget isn't big enough for webcasting, or so I've been told. I also have other plans for it. And by "we're working on acquiring the financials" I meant we're looking to sponsor it out.... lol

Oswego fans... this weekends game against Buffalo State will be webcasted and the link can be found on the Buffalo State Athletics page along with the link for the audio as well. I know how money can really put a wrench into plans but I know for a fact all of Buffalo State Home Games are webcasted. The broadcast crew will be on the road for a number of games but no idea if they will be webcasted as well.

If this IS for television what service or provider or what do you guys use to webcast and do you happen to know the general cost?

OSU will recieve 50 tickets for them to do with what they want (staff, alumni, parents) all other tickets will go on sale at 5:30pm gameday.

Re: Oswego State 2009-10 Regular Season Thread

Noticing on the stats that Fritch from Buff State is averaging about 41 shots against and Beckwith is averaging about 32 shots against. Plattsburgh and Hobart goalies are averaging at 20 or less shots against. I'm really no genius and I have not seen all of the games but this would seem to indicate that OSU and Buff State are in need of better defense. Am I right to assume that or are there other things involved?

I agree Alan Fritch has had faced a lot of shots on goal. Buffalo State had a couple defensive recruits back out at the last minute so they're hurting a bit. We actually have converted two natural forwards to defense due to the lack of depth at the defensive position.

Any idea how many tickets will be available at 5:30? How early would you have to get there to make sure you didnt waste a 4+ hour drive?
