WNYO will be there for both games. With myself Tyler James Atkinson doing Play by Play. There should be no issues with the connection and we are looking forward to smooth sailing the rest of the season

Does that mean it had something to do with the equipment? I'm guessing most people will probably watch the stream against Plattsburgh, but it would be great for NYO to be on the air for Potsdam - not sure what kind of coverage they have up there.

Not quite true, they did it in 2007-08. I believe Jay Siegel put it together:

I'm pretty sure you're right. If I remember correctly tho, they only allowed it to be played for the first few games. Then the 'Powers That Be' decided to nix it.

All I know, is that it disappeared for a while and when we tried to bring it back this year no one knew where Jay put it on the server. We found it for one game and then couldn't remember where we found it. It's my goal to remake this. Stay tuned.

No offense to Jay but lets get some better, more lively music for it when you make it. The camera shots aren't bad. But they only were on for about a minute and then it just had the glowing Lakers logo for the rest of the two minute video.

I do like the glowing Lakers logo and I think that should be put up on the screen instead of that stupid Lakers logo made in power point when they don't have anything else to put up there.

However, if we're going to be using Final Cut Pro, or whatever video program you're going to use to make the intro, lets get some more action shots, inspiration words, quotes etc. Also, get them to dim the freaking lights for the introductions!:cool:

The reason why the glowing Lakers logo is on there for the rest of the two minutes is because it would cut to whatever after the highlights ended... it was only meant to be played through the first minute.

In terms of what goes up on the board... sorry can't help you there, you know that...

If the video turns out the way I'm imagining its going to be sweet. And in terms of the teams entrance being better and this being used.... well, give me a call and we'll talk about what I've been told (again, this is not the forum).

I've been dying to use that video.

The athletics department (namely Joe Gladz) actually approached Jay and asked if he would make a video to bring the team out onto the ice. He agreed to do it and that is the video that brought the guys out for every home game that season. WTOP also produced a video tribute to the national championship season that was played on the video board prior to the raising of the banner before the exhibition game against Kent State.

Not sure where your friend got his info but I read the article and that alleged quote is no where in the article I read. This rivalry has more than enough intensity without such alleged quotes. Neither team needs bulletin board material to get ready for these games.

LET'S GO LAKERS! Two big W's in the North Country this weekend!

There will be some new graphics and quite possible a new intro video ready for the Utica game on the 14th. The PowerPoint stuff is on the way out!

First, I agree it is time to end 0-9-1, 0-10-1 is much better:p

As for Ed Gosek quotes, he did say:
Gosek said the Cardinals are still the team to beat.

Also... note... this was said in class, not in the Pall-Times... and no where in his facebook status say that it was in the Pall-Times.... sorry
