Looking forward to this Friday in the Ira at Geneseo. Both teams are hungry for a win. Many from the OZ want to be there but cannot buy tickets online only at the location 4:30 Thursday. All remaining tickets will sell at 5:30 Friday night. This makes it difficult regarding a long drive time and end up with zero seats left. Oh well hopefully we see a great game

We were at the Skidmore game. Nothing wrong with the ice. It is an Olympic ice sheet. Oswego appeared to have issues with that. No excuses. We took few draws. Our passing was non existent. Many mistakes on defense. Skidmore was faster and took advantage of our mistakes. They were a well coached and disciplined team. I’m certain the Oswego coaches are pouring over the videos and hopefully this weekend we see much better hockey

One was a 2 on 1 with Schell left hung out to dry, one was an empty netter. But Morrisville had two posts also, could easily been 5-1.

Old fashioned *** kickin...Utica looked faster,stronger,they seemed to win most puck battles, they took ZERO penalties, and were NOT puck watching like we were, especially in our zone,also their points were open allll night as we collapsed into the net, they looked to out check us as well, we seem to go fishing for the puck a lot lately instead of hammering the man with it, we also gave up several oddman rushes,I think one was a 2 on 0,and Schell stuffed them he was our only bright spot he was stellar and stopped many grade A chances, but had few, ok we hit 2 posts,BFD.....Well Pots beat Platty so who knows, we had better wake up and smell the coffee as they say,2 goals in the last 3 games, no time to panic but the seniors must step up or move over............
I agree we were at the Utica game. Oswego has played Utica close for several years , obviously the Pioneers have moved on. I read Utica has five returning All American and seven D1 transfers with two fifth year seniors in graduate programs. The venue is great and with the added $64 million Nexus sport complex adjacent to the Aud they make a great statement for a D1 program
