Oswego Lakers 2022-23..Crash the net...Let's go Lakers!!!!!

Can anyone tell me why Spectrum is not broadcasting WTOP on channel 96 for the last few weeks? Problem with Spectrum or the college?

Spectrum is Spectrum. Get a streaming device like a Roku, dump Spectrum TV and get a cable replacement service like You Tube TV. You can also stream the games on regular You Tube and watch them over and over. You will save hundreds of dollars a year and have more TV than you ever had !
 
The fan base should be extremely happy with the season from the Lakers as well being very excited about the future! Thank you to the seniors for the contribution to the program and the Oswego Community. I echo Coach Gosek, about the progression of the team, however disappointed with the end result for the boys. The Deb week in and week out should have the energy of last night as people don't realize how lucky they are with the on ice talent and facility. It will be a long off season, however, the future is bright!

I said it at the beginning of the season that Schell is someone you can build a team around. The Lakers still have 3 more seasons with him between the pipes and anything will be possible having him back there if they can get help in front of him.

That’s exactly what we are saying about our freshman goaltender, Eli Schiller, here in Plattsburgh. Just like the good old days!!!
 
Not the ending we wanted but sh*t happens....looked like a pretty even game,I was watching in between volleyball games with the daughter, we didnt seem to have to many grade A chances and many shots were blocked.Very physical game which was to be expected, our PP didnt come thru when we needed it, seems to be the same story as in the past, ugh...Our lack of Offense showed again, becoming painfully obvious year after yr,but seems to be a common theme with some other teams as well ...Maybe a at large bid??? if not hope for the best in the off season ...Go Lakers!!!

Once Oswego lost, their season was over. Norwich was getting (and got) the last at-large bid.

"if they can get help in front of him" being the operative phrase. He was left hung out to dry too many times this year. Fix that and the PP and we'll be in good shape "next year...".

Agree that and some new offensive blood will help, not sure who will return, that is always a question mark to figure out , lets hope for some young guns coming in....
 
Not repeating what improvements that are to be had. Some really good positives for next season
1-Goal situation is solid.
2-Francis on D will be back and hopefully all healed
3-A group of players who will work their tails off and are willing to get nitty gritty.
4-PPK looked really good down the stretch.
5-Hopefully Coach G is still piloting this ship Lastly hopefully the hockey gods give us a bounce once it a awhile unlike this year. To much really good play that came up short.

Always puzzled when fans say "we need more offense"! Oz has the offense they need.

Just look at the scores from last night's first round of the NCAA.
Curry 1 - Bowdoin 0
Norwich 2 - Platty 1
New Eng 2 (empty netter) Ply 0
Agus 1 - UW SP 2

Goaltending wins games!

I think we are comparing the offenses to the ones we had several seasons back when 5 goals was the first periods let's just say we need more timely scoring ;-)))
