Osama bin Laden Declared Dead

Re: Osama bin Laden Declared Dead

Serious question: what the heck do we do with the body now?

Display it in a mall. I already said that. Not good enough? Display it at Ground Zero. I want those extremists humiliated and embarrassed.

Re: Osama bin Laden Declared Dead

Or wait... how about we have him do all sorts of stuff that he was against in life, Weekend at Bernie's style?

We could have him in a Synagogue, raising an American flag, providing condoms to women...

On the body thing, believe me, I totally understand the desire to **** all over the piece of crap. At the same time, I sort of can't shake the feeling that that's exactly what AQ or other radicals would do to a US soldier, and I sort of feel like we have a duty to rise above that to some extent.

On second thought, maybe not.

CNN says the compound was built in 2005, 12-18 foot walls, barbed wire, no phone or internet. Pakistan given no advance notice of the raid.

As I have said, I want to embarrass these guys. Take personal shots at their "beliefs" (beliefs that led to the attack). Rub it in their faces. And before anyone jumps on me, I toleralate all religions, and I don't have a specific religion I follow. But when it comes to extremists....* 'em.

To give an idea, I know one of the casinos in Vegas has parts of the Berlin Wall in a mens room that has urinals mounted on it.

Something like that I think.

frankly, the moderates and liberals should be able to take any insult... frankly, burying him in pig blood or something equally Islamically defiling isn't necessarily a bad thing to me... excepting that we would have to expect a reaction and that reaction would not necessarily be favorable. Again, I think we misstate the number of people who believe as bin Laden or would take offense to treating bin Laden in that manner. In some ways I wouldn't mind... it would identify who our enemies truly are in the world... but at the same time it would tell us who our enemies truly are... and reveal it far and wide.
