I completely disagree. This is a great day for US hockey. We earned a medal in a tournament where we had no business being considered. THere were three teams expected to contend for gold and the US wasn't even mentioned.
While extremely disappointing now, we're going to look back at this and be thankful I believe.
This hurts. But our guys did us proud. Beat the Canadians and took 'em into OT. Would have loved to win gold. But silver's a major accomplishment.
The way this team played they should have won and instead a Canadian team that had no business winning wins. Same as 2002.
