I'll side with Timothy on Mustangs. I've owned a '66 289 fastback, '67 289 convertible, 70 Boss 302 and a very early '66 GT350 Shelby. Sadly all gone because raising kids is EXPENSIVE!

Being completely honest we both also love quality hockey and both our programs are quality hockey programs. Muzzy's done an exceptional job building a powerhouse at her current location and she gets full credit for that. I don't like seeing Wisconsin loose to anybody so when you're on the same par as they are, as you are, sometimes I'm going to get a little wound up, you know what I mean?

It's the offseason, so spill your guts on this Mustang thing. I'm all eyes. I can't wait to read what you're going to type.

In my post mustang era I had a thing for '87-'88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupes. The last one had a ported head with larger valves, Ford Motorsports high lift indexed roller cam, T3-T4 hybrid turbo and a 3 inch exhaust.
It was good for 170mph which isn't bad for a 4 banger. :cool:

I love the T-Bird! A guy at work had an 88 that he was going to mod up the engine, but then he died in a motorcycle accident. Why did you do something so dumb Bob? Sad.

Turbo 4 bangers are fun, my 16 Stang has one. Put that thing in track mode and it's a beast. It's a bummer I can't really enjoy it to the max on public roads as far as getting the groundspeed to an interesting level. It's got Willwood brakes and I can run her DEEP into corners and then apply the juice, I love the twisty curvies. I'd love to be able to lap her around Road America. Obviously you have Mid-Ohio in your neck of the woods for a top notch track. Of course Road America is better than Mid Ohio.....SMILEY FACE.
 
Wilwood brakes out of Camerillo, CA. My girl also has custome brakes designed specifically for her from Wilwood. Grate people and engineers. Loved working with them.

For one of my birds I had spent serious money on a set of custom made CP forged pistons So I could up the boost and had a sudden oil pressure loss at speed and that was that for that engine and pistons. Hardly had only running time in it when it happened! :mad:

You are right, I shouldn't have gone there. Trolling is not my thing, never has been. I try to ignore the trolls, but sometimes I get sucked into the conversations. Before we were competing for championships (pre-Muzzinator era), there wasn't much, if any, traffic on our forum from visiting fans. We weren't on their radar. Now the haters are out in full force. I hear there is a troll on Wisconsin's thread now trying to spread misinformation about some Shattuck girls who "had a bad experience" here. Just gotta laugh at that and move on. I guess the Muzzinator is in on some more good Shattuck girls, so the trolls have to stir the pot. It's funny when it gets to the point where rival fans have to start throwing a bunch of shit at a wall to see if any of it sticks.

I guess I'm the "troll". You can choose to believe it or not but how exactly do you think it plays with Shattuck players and parents when Coach Muzz goes out and is openly advertising for players in the portal? Its not a net positive. My son is friends with all the top 08 girls on the 16U and 19U SSM team and this is a something for sure. And I have no axe to grind with Ohio State or Nadine who I think is exceptional. I'm just passing on real first hand data from the source.
