Thanks for the good feedback. The way I look at it is a spilt on the road is ok. Let's get that WIN on Friday night first so we can have a chance to go for the sweep. If we don't WIN on Friday then we will be looking the SKUNK dead in the eye's and it's do or die on Saturday. GO BUCKEYES GO.

PS. Dear Santa . All this fan wants for Christmas is a sweep and my two front teeth. There is a Santa Claus in Canada , Eh. LOL.

Good win today but some concern they had to play catch up all game long. Albert dodged a bullet with the late penalty.

This Win was a funny but good come from behind OT Win. Neither team could put the puck in the net for about 2 periods. Both teams power play % sucked. Saturday nights game should be a riot. LOL. GO BUCKS , your half way to getting the sweep. I love hockey night in Canada. Eh. HO ,HO.

Ohio State played like garbage most of the night but again 3 pts is great no matter how they come. I know coach isnt pleased how they played tonight. Sloppy play led to all 3 BG goals. If it werent for cal it could have been 3 or 4 to 0 after the first. I couldnt believe how bad they were with the puck all night long in the Dzone. Well on to tomorrow we know BG will be hungry they dont want to get swept at home. If the Bucks want to win they must stay out of the box way to many penalties once again tonight, the penalty that led to the tieing goal was just plain stupid. In the offensive zone and you take that penalty. It looked to me that Somma tiped that one in himself but i couldnt really tell.

I am with you on road series for this team. I don't have an issue with getting a split on the road, and I am glad we got a win tonight, even if we did have to come from behind. I like the resiliency of this group. They may get behind but they don't quit. I haven't seen them quit yet this season. It is so refreshing to see this team play hard and never give up on the puck. They may not win a lot of games this season, but they will get after it.

Not surprised by the slow start last night. This was finals week and practices were probably screwed up by class timing, etc. Still that first period was brutally ugly.

No excuse for anything but 100% tonight as it's the last game until January.

SWEEP. Early Christmas present for the Bucks hockey team and staff. Eh. Bowling Green stayed with the Bucks in the first period , after that it was all Buckeyes. I wish I had a $1 for every shot that missed the net by a Buckeye player. Gotta hit the net to score. Also, how many times did the Bucks break the puck out and then try all these fancy moves and end up turning the puck over before we even got a shot on net.
It was nice to see the team get all the points. I hope we learned from this game to keep it simple and move the puck down ice more and make your shots count on net. GO BUCKS GO.

Great job tonight by the bucks, in control most of the night. Six points for the weekend nice to see the effort pay off in a sweep this weekend. Rest up and have a good holiday season ask Santa for a bunch more W's in the 2nd half.

I bet the team will get a nice speech from Coach OZ before Christmas break. Coach to players; make sure you workout to stay in shape , skate hard , and ENJOY your time off. I want you guys to come back mentally and physically ready and in shape for the second half.

Probably so, but if these players learned anything in the first half of the season the speech is not necessary. Come back out of shape and there will be a lovely seat in the stands where one can get a decent view of the game.

We've felt your pain many times on things we've done that gave games away. It certainly was a gift to get a PP for BG's too many men on the ice.

Saturday nights game. You guys ( BG ) come out like a ROCKET in the 1st period. Then in the 2nd and 3rd you guys let the game get to your head and went flat. Fridays night game , you guys had the WIN and then got caught celabrating alittle to early. Merry Christmas.

I watched Zach Stepan play via webcast last night. Although it was tough to see at times, this kid played great. He was tough, quick, works his a*** off every shift and plays smart without the puck. Can't wait for him to get here. I hope he brings some of his top recruit friends with him.

OK I'll bite:

-Gibson, who de-committed to playing in goal for tOSU, has apparently committed to the Maize and Blue. Was it the coaching change? Thoughts of going to the OHL that passed?

-Coach Oz is one of the coaches for USA's WJC team. No games at WJC on Saturday, Jan 1. Does he head over to Burlington to coach or leave the entire weekend to his assistants? Is it even possible (or reasonable) for him to head over to Burlington? USA will play on the 2nd for sure (either relegation or, hopefully, quarter finals) so no chance he will coach on Sunday. Good or bad for tOSU to have Oz in Buffalo? I think it is good in the long run to have our coach participating in the premier junior tourny in the world, and I for one am not worried about the weekend in Burlington, win or lose. We have the talent to win if we have the will and discipline. Should be interesting...

With or without Coach OZ , he can't put the puck in the net for the players. I like it when the players are more responsible for the wins and losses. The Coaches are there to make important game time decisions and put the fear and motivation in there players. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL. Eh.

Ok....anyone taking bets on whether Dusty returns after Christmas break to be the practice goalie for the second half of the season too?
Osiecki should have cut him loose with the others instead of humiliating him this way in his senior year.
