And what was the reason for disallowing it? And I could have sworn along with most of the arena that Albert scored with 12 minutes left in the third and that was ruled no goal. I swore it went in and bounced back out!

I was trying to see if Albert's goal was good, but the angle that would have showed it best, the camera guy couldn't keep up with the puck. Great win, though! I was surprised that on a 6 on 4 at the end, three UM players seemed to drift toward the slot, basically leaving Somma all alone to get the equalizer past Michigan's goalie, who was out of position to make that save. It was a great play by Somma, and Alex Szczechura's game winner from the slot was a thing of beauty. Michigan may come back and get the split tomorrow but I really like what I am seeing from this program. I can't wait to see where we are at in a couple seasons when Coach Osiecki gets a couple more recruiting classes in here. I think we got the right guy in here. I really believe Coach Oz is going to get us to the next level.

I thought that goal went in too. Tonight was my first game of the season in person and do believe they have the right coach here for the future. You can see the difference in style of play at both ends of the ice. On offense they are trying to become more of an up and down team. Cal played a pretty good game and made some key saves on the power plays that michigan had. I dont think you can fault him on either goal, the first one hit a buckeye and bounced in and the 2nd one was just a great shot. Once again as i John Albert was the best player on the ice for ohio state. I have thought he was the best player in the last 2 seasons, he might not have been the most talented player but the most consistent player on the team. They must stay out of the box to be successfull 5 michigan PP's tonight that just kills your guys who play on the PK. As far as the michigan players leaving the ice without shaking hands what a terrible display of sportsmanship. Red was pretty upset and sent one of the assistants sprinting into the locker room to get them to shake hands. Tomorrow you know michigan will come back with a good effort and to get a sweep( i think its been over 25 years since the last one) the bucks are going to need to match the intensity that michigan brings and stay out of the box.

We need to thank Michigan for the help at the end of regulation. If it weren't for the blatant penalty to give us the 6 on 4 it could have easily gone their way. And how could the goal judge miss Albert's goal and not turn the light on? I saw that puck come in and stretch the twine and rebound back out from the back corner of the net! Well at least it gave us more drama at the end. It said on the team's website that Albert's shot was off the crossbar and Michigan's goal in the 1st was disallowed because it was kicked in.

6 on 4 , I sure would hate to have been the Michigan player that took the penalty. WOW , I bet he got an ear full!!!!! " GO BUCKS GO. "

Excellent pair of games this weekend. The Bucks fought hard, never quit, and earned the three points. A split with this Michigan team is nothing to be upset over. Special kudos to Heeter for some solid goaltending tonight as well as our defense.

Wow! What are the odds of two nights in a row of 6 on 4 with half a minute to go? Too bad the guys didn't maintain control of the puck at the end of this one.

The better team won tonight. Michigan controled the game for the last 35 minutes. Getting 3 points against that team is a good weekend. I like the direction OZ has this team headed. Next weekend in BG i would hope they can get more than 3 points.

I think the Michigan Players were thinking EASY win on Friday nights game. Between the ***** chewing the Coach gave them after that game they played with more spunk on Saturday night.

How about that nice spin move Dries put on a Michigan defender in Michigan's end during the first period Saturday? Looked like a Datsyuk move. He's a kid with talent who should just keep on getting better.

It was a nice move , but it would of looked nicer if he would of scored. Eh. LOL.

I see the Buckeyes are loading up the bus and going Bowling this weekend. Maybe it will be former Head Coach John Markell night in the arena. LOL.

We should be able to get more than three points this weekend but we can't rest on BG. Bergeron has them playing better just as our new coach has us playing better. We're not really good enough yet to overlook anyone. I do like the way we are playing, though, and six points is a distinct possibility this weekend.

Ive seen BG against that same michigan team earlier in the season and they are a much different team under Bergeron. One of the first things i noticed is the tempo OZ likes to play at i like the up and down when possible instead of dump and chase without the chase part we have seen the last few years.

I also noticed that during timeouts he is up and down the bench not just talking to the players but also showing them things on the board. Markell hardly ever talked to them during timeouts it was up to the assistants to do all that.

Two teams both in a transition season under new coaches. Could be an interesting weekend, wish I wasn't already committed to other things so I could make it up there.

Can the BUCKS pick up a sweep , split or get skunked this road trip. Where's all the Buckeye spirit latley? I had to dig this topic up from page 3. LOL. Oh well , bring home some road points before the Christmas break. GO BUCKS GO.

If the team that showed up last friday night they should get a sweep. If the team that played the last 35 minutes on saturday night i would say a split would be great. Even though they are in last place this BG team cant be taken lightly because they do play hard for 60 minutes. Go Bucks see you in BG tonight.

Statistically, in league play, the teams are closely matched, except when it comes to scoring. BG has been shut out once and scored only one goal six times; need more goals! I agree that the effort is usually there.

This series could go either way. Neither team is good enough to look past the other. I see a split. Don't get me wrong, I really like the progress Coach Osiecki is making with our program, but BG is making progress with their new coach as well. You don't just stroll into BGSU Ice Arena and walk out with a sweep (unless you're Miami or one of the other upper echelon CCHA teams), and I don't see us pulling off a sweep up there. We are not at that level yet.
