I can't go Friday, but may blow the wad and fly up Saturday for the final if we advance - JB and Delta both have early afternoon flights to Portland from NYC.

Truly amazing season....especially since with so many freshmen we weren't even supposed to be here!

Way to do the SUNYAC proud boys! One more matchup would be great.

It would be great, but I really don't want to see Geneseo again. They are too hard to put away, and Norwich knows that now too.

It would be great though!

Good Luck Genny and Oswego, I am rooting for an all East Sunyac final. I am a Norwich fan now, but grew up in the berg and made many road trips to throw tennis balls in Oswego! (Participated in a few St. Patty's Day Celebrations at Peabody's and the Monopole too). Speaking of those fine establishments, does the Monopole still serve Pizza? I remember it tasting sooooo good.

The Pizza is still the best Sicilian pizza anywhere. A large pie
and a pound of wings..."The Ultimate" The pizza hasn't changed in the 37 years I have been eating it!!

Just saw the official attendance of the Laker game. Babson must have made a call or to the Fire Department to allow that many fans in.
Winning in Babson brings back many memories. From the last time we played there it was told that Sean Green score the winning goal, but Gilmartin got the credit. Any truth to that BakDraft????

Just in case anyone didn't see, the official capacity of that arena is 600 people. Tonight's attendance was 1,410. Think about that. That means there were more people standing than sitting. Add in us Arizonans and other alumni around the globe watching over the Internet and I think we had a fantastic showing. :-)

is Maine a Olympic sized rink?? i think the west teams seem to have a slight advantage in the bigger rink the past few yrs??,Oswego likes to bang and skate as well so I think we can handle both if needed..

I would think it's an NHL rink since an AHL team plays there?

Who could of predicted , even three weeks ago?

After the loss to Brockport, many fans wrote this team off. I never would have expected this team to play like they did in that game, and then come back and do what they've done. Win or lose this weekend, these kids should hold their heads high. They've played their best hockey over the last 3 weeks. Let's hope they've got one more weekend in them!

For those traveling to Maine...check a map before you book rooms - many of the "travel sites" show places actually in Lewiston "sold out" and are pushing hotels, motels, etc in Brunswick, Freeport and Portland...not exactly like walking around Mirror Lake, if you catch my drift. I went direct to hotel sites and found a room just across the river in Auburn...

I was looking yesterday. There are only 4 or so hotels in Lewistown and most are all booked up. I was able to find some rooms in Auburn, but it was a good 3 miles from the arena. Not exactly walking distance. Definitely not like the Lake Placid experience.

Also, great job by the Syracuse media covering the Lakers yesterday. The ABC affiliate managed to write three whole sentences...and only managed two typos.
