Also, great job by the Syracuse media covering the Lakers yesterday. The ABC affiliate managed to write three whole sentences...and only managed two typos. :rolleyes:

...they seem to play better on the road?? I think it may have started after they dismantled Utica in the Aud..the buff st game was a hiccup

Wow. That was the best I've seen this team play this year (so far....). Pretty impressive at the rink as I'm pretty sure we had more fans there than Babson. Louder anyway, but the home fans never had much to get loud about.

The rebuilding year continues- on to Maine! Lobster! Clams! L.L. Bean!!!

Ha! I thought of you right after that. I figured you'd take that one since it was against us. We were at the other end of the rink and couldn't get much depth perception on the hit, but it looked big- Z went flying. I think they called it charging.

You have to do some looking but there are some out there besides the 4 in Lewiston. I talked to one in Brunswick and the gal mentioned that the distance between Brunswick and Lewiston was about 45 minute drive. The B&B are a bit high and make sure to read the comments. Some of them are not good for the hotels in Lewiston. Don't mention that you are going for the games. The room I got they bumped the price $20 when I told them I was for the game. They did lower it to the price I found on google for that hotel.

The coast (Freeport, Brunswick)- and lots of still-off-season hotels- is only about 15-20 miles away, but there are only local roads cutting directly over to Lewiston, so the drive takes longer than expected. Bowdoin College is in actually located in Brunswick.

Rooms are opening up as fans of teams who expected to be there are now canceling - I have managed to move my room closer to the arena twice this am to get to walking (2mi) distance...call hotels directly - travel sites are not keeping up...

Oz fans buying tickets - we are the visitors...the visitors side is sections 25 thru 34...1st and third period offensive zone sections 25-27, blue line is 28...center ice is between sections 29-30, the bench is sec 30-31...

There is still no mention of streaming the games on NCAA.com I just checked and the only thing there for this weekend of all things is Swimming!!

I have to assume they'll be streaming it. They have every year for the last 3 or 4. The guy that did the play by play was really good. All alone calling two straight games. He did a nice job. Too bad I can't remember his name.

The NCAA in their wisdom decided to have the Championship in the Northern Frontier of Maine. They may only have dial-up service :eek:

Rudy's on Wednesday (assuming they can get it shoveled out...), Final Four on Friday- doesn't get much better. :D
