The Trifecta to make that the perfect bathroom would be if you could see the TV from the Crapper while drinking a beer.I had to move some of the girlfriends hair products off the shelf hanging from the shower head.
Three apartments ago, there was a shelf in the shower and a direct line to see the TV in the living room. That was fun.

It helps to compensate for all the vegetarian requirements.

Who is vegetarian in your family?

I won't eat a meatless meal.Wife. To be serious, it has at least a) made me a better cook, and b) showed me how amazing Indian food is. (My wife's not Indian, it's just a no-fail go-to when we're going out.) You get yourself a nice, southern Indian vegetarian restaurant -- you don't notice the no-meat part. Mmmm.
Drinking thread. Sorry. Hooray beer!

Some vegis are good, like when they are flavored with meat flavors. See mashed potatoes and gravy.bbdl: quote from me yesterday at the TDay feast: "Meat, meat, more meat, and a touch of vegetable, to clean the palate."

Actually, my favorite thanksgiving food is stuffing, which is also partially flavored by meat.
Green Bean Casserole topped with Fried Onions and.....wait for it...... Bacon Bits.Followed by a shortie of Black Bush. Best. Thanksgiving. Ever.

The fine folks at my grocery store have got Black Bush priced about $12 lower than regular Bushmills. I don't know what's up with that. They must think since more people ask for the standard that it must be better. (Not that I have anything against Bushmills.) This has been true since I noticed last year, so it's not some mix-up. Oh well! There'll be more of the better stuff around here.

I've noticed that Crown Royal has dropped in price, whereas Jack has risen, and Jameson has remained about the same. I dunno if it's a Canadian thing, a company-specific thing, or what, but I may have to sieze the opportunity, especially since the gift sets* are now out.
*Usually you get a couple glasses (most common), a shaker (Ketel One), etc etc. And legally they cannot charge extra for the gift sets in MN.
