I'm with LwB. I think I just dry heaved.

Had the misfortune of trying a Winter's Bourbon Cask Ale at a Christmas party six months ago, and it was pretty awful. I'm about to see if Amber Bock is OK. If not, at least it was cheap.

Meh, my guess is that Twitch is right. Would anyone in that corner of the state know who Lindsay Lohan is, or therefore, even have a cellphone to send that message?

You do have a point. A sterling example of the local population - a neighbor of my grandparents' summer home had a kid that I sort of grew up playing with when I spent time up there. He became a problem teenager in high school, dropped out, moved into town, and is now a part time rent-a-cop with a live-in girlfriend, whom he moved in with while she was pregnant. The best part? He didn't father the baby. At least, for now, he is attempting to help raise it.

These redneck stories just write themselves.

I officially like my husband and Foley, MN. Mr. wore Black found Nordeast at the liquor store there. Westside in St. Cloud didn't have any. He is bringing it back for me. How sweet.

:mad: I'm gonna miss any SENANICANS. :mad:

I may be getting a little tipsy that night. Cousin's wedding, but it's not a full reception, since this was a kind of hurried wedding (LTR girlfriend got preggo, and cousin's Navy run is coming to an end at the end of July). So I know my bro/SIL/I will be hitting bars afterwards.

But for right now, due to my body giving me the middle finger (thanks, work!), I'm having an Ommengang Three Philosophers, because I earned it.

Careful, that's a cheap beer you're not allowed to like because it's hard to find and overhyped and isn't made by surly

Saw this at Cub tonight, although, I've been informed they've been around a couple years.

I'm not sure if you can get drunk on root beer, but ****it, I'm going to try:

The guy at the store said it was the first shipment in about 2 months that hadn't sold out in less than 2 hours. I think he said they've been getting about 5 cases a week (in 12-pack units of sale). :eek:

It's not like it's a magical beer, but it is just very good cheaper beer that you couldn't find.

Root beer may be tasty, but in large quantities is a very effective way to flush out your system. :o

May have to add that to the list next time I'm home.

And there's a growler of a KBC lager in my fridge. :)
