I've gotten the 1919 mini keg before. If you get it, drink it fast, it goes flat in 1-2 days.

This has been my experience with mini-kegs in general. I always tell people that if they want one, they should either plan to spend the day drinking it (probably not a good idea), or split it with 1-2 other people.

Yeah, they're really not intended for you to open and drink by yourself, mini-kegs are supposed to be a group endeavor.

Thanks for ruining my weekend! :p :D

I wanted to have some achievement in my life. :o

I'd like to see someone drink 5L of beer and not be sloppy/blackout. That'd be a sight to see. It can be done, but as I've seen at the Gasthof, it's not easy. :)

One of my friends in college drank 2 gallons of beer one night.

He wasn't that sloppy, but wow was he hungover the next <strike>morning</strike> evening. :o

I am on my second+ liter of Baltika and I am still vertical and somewhat aware of my surroundings. I am going to try to work up to the 5L standard.

That F5 night at Gasthofs was one of my better nights for amount of beer (note: BEER) consumed. 3L plus the better part of a boot, plus the remainder of a boot, and I was fine. And this was after tailgating all day.

New Beer post...

6/11 PilsnerUrquell
6/18 Kronenbourg 1664
6/25 Red Stripe

I'm going to start logging what I've tried recently... trying a new 6 pack each week if I can.

Was switching between Paulaner Hefewiezen and Warsteiner Dunkel. Dunno what the boots were, but guessing the Paulaner.

To celebrate getting the new job, I got a bomber of Avery Brewing Co.'s "The Czar" and a sixer of North Coast's "Scrimshaw" Pils. Saving the imperial stout for a little later, because the pils is pretty effing good even by Bohemian standards.

I was going to do the Vodka tasting at Polish Fest, but I didn't have a ride home. Also, I work with a person whose husband owns a Polish store in Greendale so I get free stuff from there.

I will be at Summerfest eventually. I plan on taking the Freeway Flyer via Ryan Road. I just need a ride from Ryan Road to Racine.
