I know it's not exactly cider "season", but I saw this tonight while shopping for weekend booze and had to try it:
It's brewed with Irish stout yeast and molasses. I think this will either be epic win or epic fail, so naturally I'm hoping for the former.
Their double IPA, "Ruination", is liquid hop gold.

the words "double IPA" just want to make me double over... I don't know how you guys drink that stuff.
Yeah, I'm heading back on Saturday to get the rest of the line, along with some of the Goose Island ones (Night Stalker, and Pepe something or other), and also the Odell's Woodcut #4 (which is quite pricey at $25 for a bomber, but was told it was more than worth it; and Odell's has never done me wrong). Might try a couple others the guy at the store recommended. He mentioned some that I have had in the past, and we held the same opinion on most of those beers, so he's got some credibility.
Glenmorangie 10 year - ain't my cup o' scotch. Drinkable, but too sweet/light.
Glad to have read that. It was on sale at the Haskell's I bought the beer at. Was curious, and now I know. (insert GI Joe or NBC joke here).
If I wanted a scotch very similar to this (except slightly better), I'd spend $12 less and get the Speyburn 10 again.
Been very impressed with the Deschuttes line that was recently expanded here, as well as Rush River and Stone. Also picked up a SA Latitude variety pack and a Sierra Nevada camper variety pack that I have not yet tried.
