It's supposed to be a cool weekend, so I'm hoping to pick up some serious Oktoberfest-style brews on Friday night, and have a Sipper Saturday (™ Brent) for the first full day of college football. ;)

Supposed to be cool here, too. Might try the Hoptober from NB. It's getting to the dark beer season.

I picked up some Premium and Nordeast for the weekend in Michigan, since I won't be able to find it there.

It was last night in Red Wing, last time I looked for it in the cities I didn't find it, but I didn't look more than the one place I was already at, I was just after some Seagrams that night.

I was pleasantly surprised by that development.

So, this upcoming Thursday I am heading out to NoDak for my Grandma's memorial service. I am not leaving home empty handed. I am debating on what kind of alcoholic beverages I should bring out there, because beer is cheep here. New Glarus is already on the list. Maybe some KBC. I don't know what else to bring. What would all of you suggest?

Had a little bottle of Balvenie 12 and it was really good. Thanks, Brent.

Buffalo Trace is also fantastic bourbon for $23.
