Nov 27th-28th UAA VS CC

Re: Nov 27th-28th UAA VS CC

Happy Thanksgiving to all the fans, players and coaching staff - especially my Seawolves!

Re: Nov 27th-28th UAA VS CC

We undoubtedly get our fair share of good Alaska players at CC, and I"ve enjoyed watching all of them. They have contributed a great deal to our program. But the fact that so many leave Alaska may not be because they are "traitors" as you always refer to them, it may be because other schools and/or hockey programs are simply more appealing.

Sort of like Colorado Springs city of 380,000 and not one local on CC's roster.
What happened, did they do all move to Breckenridge?
When was the last point in time CC have more than one local suit up and get Ice time ?

Scott Polaski is the last one in my memory...2005.

That's been my whole point. Players leave their hometown all of the time. Most of us do not consider them traitors for it, though.

Donald believes that it's idiotic for a school to have a mascot name, which does not reflect their geography because there are no tigers in Colorado, CC should not be the "Tigers".
What’s a C C Tiger?

As you'll recall Donald is the same jerk who posted this classless post on his blog last year: http://uaafan.blogspot.com/2008/03/foul-stench-in-springs.html

You must have liked it for you to bring it up all over again. :D

Yeah, I remember...there's no question that he's an idiot. It's kind of like a car crash...you don't want to see it, but you look anyway.

Also, he should get his facts straight. Northeastern beat BU this year, even though the moron said NU lost to them. I was at that game, so I'm pretty sure I remember.;) Then again, he has never been one to allow facts to get in the way.

A picture of turd. who the heck takes a picture of their crap? I still laugh at that one, although
I don't recommend viewing it before eating.

Let's see, you called Donald an idiot and a moron, here on the forum where he can't defend himself. Yup, that's real classy.

Don't like what he writes, don't read it. He writes for UAA fans (hint hint, notice the title of his blog). We UAA fans appreciate his dedication and love for Seawolf hockey.

Quite frankly, I've always thought you were a jerk too.

He can come on here and defend himself just fine. This is THE primary college hockey forum, so it isn't like I made that comment in an obscure place. Sorry, but if he's going to write that kind of crap, he ought to expect to be called out for it. And again, he should also check his facts.

Re: Nov 27th-28th UAA VS CC

Very one-sided game Friday night. Either CC is that much better or UAA did not show to play. My guess is UAA did not show to play, they appeared to be tired and it was only the first period.

If UAA does not get more physical on Saturday they could embarrass themselves. It was almost to that point Friday night. Regret that UAA lost another player Friday to season ending injury (Luka Vidmar).

Go Tigers!!

Yeah I'm just gonna go ahead and call this one an Epic Fail.

Look up the name DropThePuck on here and see what comes up.

Re: Nov 27th-28th UAA VS CC

Can anyone tell me what happened to Bryce and if he's gonna be out a while?

I'm not sure what happened to him, but it was not due to Civitarese's penalty. The play that injured Christianson happened after Civitarese's penalty (by just a second or so). The puck came out to the left point, and Civitarese skated from near the far post across the crease to screen Christianson. However, at the same time Christianson skated from the near post up to the top of the crease - and they bumped a bit. Civitarese definitely deserved a penalty for the collision because he skated right through the paint and interfered with the goalie, but it was absolutely minor and couldn't have caused an injury. However, another Tiger was near the goal crease as well (near side), and was pushed down on top of Christianson's back by a UAA defenseman just a fraction of a second after Civitarese's bump. It was a very fast play. Puck to the point, Civitarese and Christianson colliding somewhat gently at the top of the crease, penalty, shot/whistle, UAA player push, CC player down on Christianson's back.

Thinking of UAA is there game film of the knee on Knee hit Brian McMillin on Vidmar...
