We undoubtedly get our fair share of good Alaska players at CC, and I"ve enjoyed watching all of them. They have contributed a great deal to our program. But the fact that so many leave Alaska may not be because they are "traitors" as you always refer to them, it may be because other schools and/or hockey programs are simply more appealing.
Sort of like Colorado Springs city of 380,000 and not one local on CC's roster.
What happened, did they do all move to Breckenridge?
When was the last point in time CC have more than one local suit up and get Ice time ?
That's been my whole point. Players leave their hometown all of the time. Most of us do not consider them traitors for it, though.Sort of like Colorado Springs city of 380,000 and not one local on CC's roster.

I'm curious as to why Donald refers to CC as the "Black Bears".

What’s a C C Tiger?Donald believes that it's idiotic for a school to have a mascot name, which does not reflect their geography because there are no tigers in Colorado, CC should not be the "Tigers".
As you'll recall Donald is the same jerk who posted this classless post on his blog last year: http://uaafan.blogspot.com/2008/03/foul-stench-in-springs.html
Yeah, I remember...there's no question that he's an idiot. It's kind of like a car crash...you don't want to see it, but you look anyway.Donald believes that it's idiotic for a school to have a mascot name, which does not reflect their geography because there are no tigers in Colorado, CC should not be the "Tigers".

Also, he should get his facts straight. Northeastern beat BU this year, even though the moron said NU lost to them. I was at that game, so I'm pretty sure I remember. Then again, he has never been one to allow facts to get in the way.
Let's see, you called Donald an idiot and a moron, here on the forum where he can't defend himself. Yup, that's real classy.
Don't like what he writes, don't read it. He writes for UAA fans (hint hint, notice the title of his blog). We UAA fans appreciate his dedication and love for Seawolf hockey.
He can come on here and defend himself just fine. This is THE primary college hockey forum, so it isn't like I made that comment in an obscure place. Sorry, but if he's going to write that kind of crap, he ought to expect to be called out for it. And again, he should also check his facts.Let's see, you called Donald an idiot and a moron, here on the forum where he can't defend himself. Yup, that's real classy.

Can anyone tell me what happened to Bryce and if he's gonna be out a while?
