Norwich Cadets '13-14 - A New Look Forward

Re: Norwich Cadets '13-14 - A New Look Forward

I would not get too excited. As of right now, even Utica has played a tougher schedule than you guys.

I know. To me the power play looked like "a work in progress" as someone once put it.

As a gentleman sitting behind me at the game said at one point "Do we have to accept the power play"

Way too many peripheral passes with no purpose. I'm big believer in the cycling the puck down low and the feeding it to the slot or the points. That style seems to be the one we have used that has had the most success. If you pass the puck around the the box or triangle, you get nice geometric patterns, but you don't force the other team to move.

Wow, a lot of injuries/illness already. Lyrvall out with Mono, Currier out untill after the holidays with a bad sprain (knee), and Piacentini still not dressed after the hit in the Plymouth game (?shoulder). McShane said he was splitting games with Ermakov and Lawler, hope it's not due to the hit he took at St. Mikes (face). Good thing we have a deep bench.

Little East TV just doesn't seem to work. Just keep re-running the list of sponsor on a static screen. Listening to Geo.

Now I have a picture, but with no narration and no clock - no hope of synch -

Looks like about 2 minutes behind Geo. I'll listen and use the vid as replay when goals happen

I am having the same issues here with George well ahead of the So. Maine video. Nice to know when a goal is scored so I can watch the action a little closer:rolleyes:

I don't want to try to delay George, because with it so far behind I could miss a lot of action.

Very disappointed with how the game ended....That was something I don't expect out of Norwich....

If it happened as you describe, I'm sure the NU player will be sitting tomorrow as a result. Who knows? Two sides and all.

Well I did see the play, it was maybe 10 feet from me....I am not on here to bash anybody, and I think it was probably and isolated incident, but I just HATE the stickwork that is in college hockey today...
