Norwich Cadets '13-14 - A New Look Forward

Come on Cadet fans, no posts in 4 days?

Fall sports still going....

Volleyball just lost in GNAC quarters on Tuesday. Men's soccer dropped a tough one in gnac semis today.

Football still has two weeks left and an ECAC bowl bid chance. Women's rugby headed to 15's sweet sixteen. XC has regionals in 2 weeks at southern Maine.

After nov. 17 things will be all hockey pretty much.

Re: Norwich Cadets '13-14 - A New Look Forward

Looking forward to actually being able to see the game Friday afternoon. Glad that St. Mike's got a deal in place. The only downer is that I'm sure that George won't be on the call from Cairns.

Re: Norwich Cadets '13-14 - A New Look Forward

It looks like it will be Bruce Bosley on the call.
Don't forget that I'll be on the call for the NU vs. St. Mikes Women's game Friday night too ;)

Re: Norwich Cadets '13-14 - A New Look Forward

Love watching the women, too (Saturday was ugly :( ), maybe i'll put the men up on the big screen and the women on my iPad.

Re: Norwich Cadets '13-14 - A New Look Forward

Glad that I can watch the St. Mike's game vs Norwich Friday night, but still intend to listen to the play by play by WDEV's George Commo. He is broadcasting it, correct? I don't think he has ever missed a game in my 15+ years being a Norwich fan. He and Tanner Acebo do a great job!

Re: Norwich Cadets '13-14 - A New Look Forward

maybe we'll see the other freshmen play friday that didn't see any action against plymouth state.very impressed withthe new guys so far.

I may try to synch NSN and DEV. I tried that last year when Norwich was on video, but away from home. Depending on internet traffic and buffering, you can do okay with that. Kill the NSN audio, bring in DEV, and see what happens...

Thanks for the kind words, however this season I am not traveling to most road games due to other broadcasting duties at Norwich. So you'll have to tune in to the home broadcasts to hear my insights :D

So who will keep the banter going with George? He's good (in my opinion one of the best around), but I'm sure he'd like to be able to stop talking once in a while.

We're bringing my old UVM broadcast partner Pat Thornton on board for a lot of the road games ... he'll make his Norwich debut tomorrow night.

Being a Dartmouth guy, I kind of used to ignore your old UVM broadcasts - never liked those guys, especially when they were in the ECAC DI league with the Big Green. Always hated the way they would flood into Thompson and take the place over like it was their place.

Goals. Lots of goals.

Re: Norwich Cadets '13-14 - A New Look Forward

Funny Prof, it didn't bother you when Norwich flooded into Thompson and took over the place for the Exhibition games the last couple of years ... always struck me back in the day that if there enough Dartmouth fans there UVM (Or Norwich) fans would never have been able to flood into it.

Re: Norwich Cadets '13-14 - A New Look Forward

That's different...

The little d3 guys coming in Nd rocking "the Rupe". That's just plain fun

Re: Norwich Cadets '13-14 - A New Look Forward

Don't like the looks of the NU power play so far

Re: Norwich Cadets '13-14 - A New Look Forward

I would not get too excited. As of right now, even Utica has played a tougher schedule than you guys.
