Norwich Cadets '13-14 - A New Look Forward

Re: Norwich Cadets '13-14 - A New Look Forward

Cadet Crosby, are there any more tickets available for Saturdays game vs Babson? There are only 3 seats available on line, all in seperate sections, and I am looking for 2 seats together. I know last week, more tickets were available on Thursday after Castleton and season ticket holders confirmed their tickets. Hopefully the same thing will happen this week. Thanks for your help!

Never mind, a bunch of seats opened up this evening, so I am all set. Thanks anyway:) Should be a great game.

Big game coming up this Saturday night @ Kreitzberg Arena with Babson to see which team claims the ECAC East Tournament Championship and the auto bid to the NCAA tournament. I for one have been spoiled by the Cadets success in the ECAC East since the opening of Kreitzberg in the 1998-1999 season. Norwich has won 16 straight ECAC East regular seasons titles. This year the season title was decided on the last day of season play and Norwich needed some help from St Mikes to claim the title. Because of all the regular season title wins Norwich has never had to leave the confines of Kreitzberg Arena to play an ECAC East tournament game. During this time they have won 10 ECAC East Championships and have advanced to NCAA tournament 12 of the last 15 years with two at large bids in 2007 & 2013. Norwich had one lose in the quarters to Mass-Boston in 2009; two loses in the semis to NEC 2005 & Babson 2007; and two loses in the finals to NEC 2001 & Babson 2013. Over the course of the last 15 years Norwich has won three National Championships in 2000, 2003 and 2010. Babson has played us tough the last few years and I expect the game this Saturday will be as hard fought as the two league 1-0 wins Norwich pulled out this year. Best of luck to the Cadets this weekend and I’m hoping they can pull off the third victory and secure the auto bid to the dance. No team wants to be at the mercy of the smoke filled room on selection night. :)

Given some of the oddities in the regional rankings that we are seeing right now, avoidance of the smoke filled phone call could well be a necessity. You just never know...

I wonder if Coach will retain the same line-up strategy that he used against Castleton? It worked fine for that game, and I think Babson is a lot like Castleton in the way they approach the game, albeit a bit more polished. A lack of turnovers in the defensive end would be a true blessing.

Refraining from attempting "no-look" passes in front of our net would go a long way toward that blessing.

Am I the only one who can't get through to NSN? I'm listening on DEV, but can't get NSN at all.

You will only get a list of games on the screen, if you click it will work. You also have to click if you are mobile. The broadcasts are there.

No, I can't get through either. I have tried several times over the past 45 minutes...

Re: Norwich Cadets '13-14 - A New Look Forward

I lost the feed with 13:49 left, never could get it back, reverted to the old stand-by WDEV. Tried multiple times to get NSN back but no joy. :-(

Found that I got through to NSN by going directly to nsnsports.net instead of using the link on d3hockey.com
