all ECAC/AHA games. Beanpot, home games with Holy Cross, RPI, Harvard and Bentley. Only "road" game is against Niagara in Hartford. I forget the exact dates. Anyone with the schedule in hand can feel free to post it.

Parents weekend Oct 29 & 30, Holy cross and Bently.
Nove.6th Niagara @ Hartford (20 thousand guarantee).
Jan. 19 Harvard (H).
18 Home games!

Playing Niagara at Hartford, that should be fun, I'll have to try to get down there for the game. A 20,000 guarantee would be an excellent draw too for a game at Hartford.

The original post said a 20,000 guarantee, I sort of assumed they meant 20,000 people (though that seems impossible since capacity is 15,000). Maybe it's supposed to be a double header, where they can get more people?

XL Center seats 15,565 for hockey. That plus there's a greater chance of AIC winning the national championship than there is of 20,000 people showing up for Northeastern-Niagara in Hartford, CT. I would think the $20K would be paid to Northeastern for showing up for this. But this one still perplexes me.

I believe this is all part of Howard Baldwin's attemp to re-energize the hockey market in Connecticut. His ultimate goal is to bring the Whalers and the NHL back to the state.

Greg Cronins wanted to play at Ohio State or ND, but he was told to Play for the 20 thousand.

Sounds like a pretty weak schedule. Hopefully staying in New England will at least mean fans can get to the games. We usually travel pretty well, although it's tough for a lot of people to get out to places like Colorado. ND and even Ohio State wouldn't have that many fans (certainly very few students) traveling.

Here's to hoping all the HE teams do extremely well with their out of conference schedule.

I actually said that if Muench was healthy, he and Hewkin could lead the defense. Admittedly, that was idle musing by a cockeyed optomist. Hewkin will lead the defense until Ellement or one of the freshman finds the rink and suits up. Brain cramp. Sorry.

I won't be here in the fall, so it would take a trip back for me to see an NU-ND game.
