Re: Northeastern Huskies 2010-2011 Season Thread
Cody and Randy should be able to play this Friday.
From Sebastien:
"In perspective, earning 5 points out of a possibility of 6 for the regular season series against one of our Hockey East opponent is a very nice accomplishment. Especially 3 out of 4 on the road against the Minutemen. We also were able to create a greater gap between ourselves in 6th position and UMass in 7th as they are 5 points behind us.
A huge game looms for us on Friday night with important playoff implications as we will be hosting the Merrimack Warriors. The Warriors sit 2 positions and 2 points ahead of us in the standings. Being in 4th position, MC holds the last of the coveted home ice playoff spots at this point. In the first two contests of the season against the Warriors, each team earned 2-1 wins on enemy ice in the fall.
We certainly hope our students and fans show up in large number to give us the home ice advantage. On NESN this past Friday, the commentators established that overcoming the crowd was the key to the game for the Minutemen. Our Dog House’s ability to intimidate opponents can be a phenomenal advantage well known across all of college hockey!"
