Well, great year by anyone but Rawlings. Generally a very horrible year by a very inconsistent and poor goalie fundamentally.
I thank you Rawlings for taking away the beanpot and any chance in the semis... (and any of your many terrible regular season appearences)
If anything has been made obvious this year is play witt or recruit for a new goalie.

Congrats to NU. They showed a ton of heart and didn't give up. Unfortunately NU won't be moving on but they had a heck of a finish down the stretch and should be be happy with the showing they had tonight against BC. Congrats again.

Not Rawlings best night by far & the Eagles' PP firing on all cylinders. I think it'd be great if we had a Witt/ Rawlings rotation for nxt season. Will do the team good. Might help the big fella (Chris), settle down some.
Huskies.. great heart, super effort & you almost pulled it off. Let's keep that fire burning.. it'll do us good nxt season. You made us proud & i have a feeling you'll be back at the Garden sooner rather than later.

Rough start but that's about as good a finish to the season as you can ask for given the 1-7-2 start. Hope the NCAA doesn't screw us and we should be good to go for next season with a core of starters that has a season of experience.

Wow. Great game and great effort from NU tonight. They ended up with a strong season after a horrible start. It will take a lot to replace that top line, but overall they are very young and could do some serious damage if they can just hang in there for the first part of the year. Rawlings will be the key in the first month, I think. He may need to steal a few games while the team finds their way. If he can do that, we may be looking at a tournament team. I don't know about you all but I think the future could look really good for the Huskies.

All in all it was an interesting season. We played well at times and improved. Rawlings just a bit to inconistant to get us there. Good recruits down the road, so we have hope. It was great blogging with you all. Talk to you in October, time to close this thread!
