Nice comeback tonight! I believe that was your player with the GWG?!!! A very "Gritty" effort from the whole team. It looked in the box score like about 9 different Huskies recorded points tonight! NU just might be for REAL:eek: !!!

I missed Friday's game because I'm on a little vacation and I only get free internet in the hotel lobby. Firstly, I was thrilled to see a win. But secondly I checked out the box score and noticed PC scored 3 goals in the first period. Let me tell ya something. So recently, come-from-behind wins were not a Northeastern reality, especially a 3-goal, first-period deficit. This team is different. NU believes they can win every time out. It's the real deal.

Final Score - NU 1, Vermont 0, GWG Wolfie:) ...However NU looked to have a great effort from a host of players like CP, KW, KK, AH, LB, BE, GB, LA, SG and of course...FLO once again!!!

Nice win....Now then,... better get ready for what is sure to be a thrilling smackdown of a showdown on Sunday against.....UNH!

Disappointing loss, especially when it was 2 shorthanded goals. Maybe next time. Ugh.

Tough loss, but the good news was that other than the two mistakes that led to the SHG's, the Huntington Hounds kept up with the grueling fast pace and physical play of UNH, matching them stride for stride most of the game! That hasn't happened in a while! Not sure what the Scorekeeper was looking at, as I saw many shots hit UNH goalie, with no shot count added, oh well whatever. It was definitely a physical battle! I'm not too sure, but the pace and play of the UNH players really blurs the line between fast & furious or non-call penalties! In any event, not a lot of whistles as UNH called for 5 and NU had 2 I think. A little curious about non calls.

Today proved that NU definitely has the players with the speed, physicality and scoring ability to hang with UNH, but they do need to find the back of the net a bit more often!

New year, now can the Huskies keep it up?! On paper, we should win today's game, yet we've faltered against Yale the past 2 years, unable to score in 2 very close games. Snickeris is a tough cookie!!

I'm so excited to have 2 big games today :)

Alright Sully! 32-save shut out over Yale today and the Huskies win 3-0. Goals by Kehoe, Espo and an EN by Pickett!

That and the OT B's win in the WC make for a very happy new year. :D

NU wins 3 - 0 . Huskies looked good in the 1st and 3rd periods. Both teams looked a little flat in the 2nd. Good win after the layoff. Now it's on to Princeton and continued preparation for a rematch with UNH at Fenway!!! :D

It wasn't as big of a blow out as the score looked like, but Kehoe's goal was absolutely amazing, literally diving or falling over the Yale keeper and backhanding it into the net.

Northeastern also killed off numerous penalties. Yale didn't have too many real chances.

The Huskies pounced in the latter moments of Period 3 to close it out.

Nice win today for the hounds! Four different goal scorers and a stellar performance from Sully!!!! NU seems to be gaining some momentum and speed real fast right now.

The Huntington Hounds seem ready... So now it's time for the....

"INUVIK SMACKDOWN" and "REVENGE at FENWAY":D :eek: :) !!!!!!

I'm pumped. I was nervous about this Princeton game. I figured we'd be pretty even with them, and I'm glad we found a way to win. Now if only we could get a win on Friday...pretty please :o
