Northeast Regional: Boston University, Yale, UMD, Minnesota

Re: Northeast Regional: Boston University, Yale, UMD, Minnesota

very good.... 11/30/2003

whitney scored the 1st from former employee #6 & laliberte. the 2nd unassisted on the pp, then the last (7th) with 1:23 left in the game from skladany and kenny magowan to get the hattie in a 7-2 squeaker. (kevin "KEVIN!!!!" schaeffer also had a hat trick)

Ah, yes. As rare as two hat tricks in one game from the same team are, to have them both be defensemen has to be extremely rare at a competitive level like D-1. I remember that one pretty well.

All in all, I expect a couple of tough games this weekend against UMTC Duluth and the New Hampshire Bureau of Tourism.

Re: Northeast Regional: Boston University, Yale, UMD, Minnesota

Will we be seeing any skating cheerleaders this weekend?

Re: Northeast Regional: Boston University, Yale, UMD, Minnesota

Based on the pictures, I think everyone will be able to guess which set can actually skate.

Re: Northeast Regional: Boston University, Yale, UMD, Minnesota

What Is the over/under on the number of times we will hear the chant " you suck" from the BU section?

LOL, I've seen them both, and your guess is spot on!

Recent years? You must not be familiar with the annual Jack Parker friends and family tour part of our schedule. I can't remember the last time we didn't have at least a couple ECAC game on our schedule.

Heh. As good a money-maker as the MSG games are, I would not mind seeing them show up at Lynah again, debates about its dying atmosphere aside.

This ****es Mookie off the most. Was originally planned to be 1-1-1 (MSG lynah WWA- repeat). But now we have msg msg msg served up like a lazy chinese cook :(

UMD isn't as bad as they have been in the past, and there are 3 or 4 that certainly have competitive figure skating experience. They're definitely not the synchronized skating team that the Gophers cheerleaders are, however.

Re: Northeast Regional: Boston University, Yale, UMD, Minnesota

What are these cheerleader women that you speak of? We have no such species at Ingalls, only large headed bulldog and quirky band.

Better than any of the eastern teams' skating cheerleaders.

Re: Northeast Regional: Boston University, Yale, UMD, Minnesota

Have you ever been to Quinnipiac? I like The IceCats better than the BobCats.
No. Thanks for reminding me they had skating cheerleaders. Are they the only eastern team with skating cheerleaders?
